Vinylshakerz (also known as Vanguard prior to 2005) were a German tech/electro house act, formed in 2004 by Rico Bernasconi and Mike Red, and best known for the 2005 remix of the Murray Head hit "One Night in Bangkok". The producers have also remixed material for other artists, like Wham!, George Michael, Bon Jovi, Toto, My Mine, Boney M. And Many more, mainly for dance compilation CDs.

The Shapeshifters is the current alias of English house producer Simon Marlin and a former duo comprising Marlin and Swedish producer Max Reich, from Gothenburg. The Shapeshifters have been signed to Defected Records since 2008, and the duo were previously signed to Positiva. They are best known for their debut single "Lola's Theme", which went to No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in July 2004.

"Into the Groove" is a song by American singer Madonna from the 1985 film Desperately Seeking Susan. It was featured on the re-issue of her second studio album, Like a Virgin (1984), outside North America. Sire Records released it as a single on July 15, 1985. Madonna's inspiration behind the song was the dance floor and she wrote it while watching a handsome Puerto Rican man, across her balcony. Initially written for her friend Mark Kamins, Madonna later decided to use it as the soundtrack of the film Desperately Seeking Susan.

The track was released on November 11, 2006 as a promotional single for the parent album's release through Interscope Records. It was developed during several sessions in Miami, Florida, and Hollywood, California, in July 2005, for an intended EP or as extra tracks on her video album Harajuku Lovers Live (2005). The song was written by Stefani and Williams and produced by The Neptunes. Musically, the collaboration is a dance-pop recording with a "day-glo" rap. Its lyrics deal with food, sexual intercourse, and the roles that an individual may have within a household.
