Voitto Aukusti Soini (born February 6, 1938 in Koivisto, Finland) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga. He played for TPS and TuTo. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1986.

Jari Pekka Kurri is a Finnish former professional ice hockey player. Beginning in 1980, he played right wing for five National Hockey League (NHL) teams: the Edmonton Oilers, the Los Angeles Kings, the New York Rangers, the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and the Colorado Avalanche. Kurri played 17 seasons in the NHL and was the first Finnish player to be enshrined into the Hockey Hall of Fame, in 2001. He was a member of a Stanley Cup–winning team five times, all with the Oilers. He is perhaps best remembered as Wayne Gretzky's foil. In 2017, Kurri was named one of the '100 Greatest NHL Players' in history.
The Veli-Pekka Ketola trophy is a Finnish ice hockey trophy awarded by the Liiga to the player who scores the most points during regular season play. It was first awarded to Henry Saleva of Kärpät in the 1977–78 SM-liiga season. The trophy was renamed in honour of Veli-Pekka Ketola in 1995.
The Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame is housed in and administered by the Suomen Jääkiekkomuseo, a part of the Vapriikki Museum Centre, in Tampere, Finland. The mission of the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame is to record, document, and exhibit objects, photographs, and printed materials related to Finnish ice hockey. The original Kanada-malja and the Aurora Borealis Cup are on display along with a number of active-use Liiga awards and hockey memorabilia including sweaters and game-used gear from past seasons.
Carl Thomas Brewer was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. Brewer attended De La Salle College and Riverdale Collegiate Institute prior to his hockey career.
Voitto Valdemar Hellsten, sometimes spelled as Voitto Hellstén, was a Finnish sprinter. Hellsten competed in 100–400 m events at the 1952, 1956 and 1960 Olympics and won a bronze medal in the 400 m in 1956, shared with Ardalion Ignatyev.
Matti Keinonen was a Finnish professional ice hockey player and coach. During his career he played in the SM-sarja with Lukko Rauma, RU-38, HJK Helsinki, Jokerit, and TPS Turku. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1987 and into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2002. Keinonen was nicknamed as "Mölli".
Esa Olavi Peltonen is a Finnish former professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga for Kärpät, Upon Pallo, HJK, HIFK and Kiekkoreipas. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1990.
Jorma Juhani Valtonen is a Finnish former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the SM-liiga.
Arto Kalevi Javanainen was a professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga. He was the first European draft pick in Pittsburgh Penguins history, going in the fifth round.
Reijo Kalevi Leppänen is a retired professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga. He played for TPS. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1992.
Tapio Antero Levo is a retired Finnish professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga and National Hockey League. He played for Ässät in Finland, and the New Jersey Devils and Colorado Rockies in the NHL. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1995. He also played for Finland in the 1980 Winter Olympics and scored the team's first goal of the tournament and registered four assists as well.
Jukka Veikko Porvari is a Finnish retired professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga and National Hockey League (NHL). He played for Tappara, TPS, New Jersey Devils, and Colorado Rockies. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1994. He also played at the 1980 Winter Olympics, with 7 goals and 4 assists for a total of 11 points in 7 games.
Juhani Jorma Kalevi Wahlsten was a Finnish professional ice hockey player and ice hockey coach who worked as an exercise and gymnastics teacher in Finland. He was also known by the nickname "Juuso". He also established and helped guide the early development of ringette in Finland, the first European country to do so.
Unto Mauri Wiitala was a Finnish professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga. Born in Kuolemajärvi, Finland, he played for Hämeenlinnan Tarmo before working as a referee and hockey executive. He competed at the 1952 Winter Olympics with Team Finland and five Ice Hockey World Championships.

Kalervo Juhani Kummola is a Finnish ice hockey executive, businessman, and politician. He co-founded the hockey club Kiekko-67 at age 21, was later marketing director for HC Turun Palloseura, and chief executive officer of the SM-liiga. Becoming a board member of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association in 1975, he was elected vice-president in 1990, and served as president from 1997 to 2016. He helped organize multiple World Championships hosted in Finland, was an International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) vice-president from 2003 to 2021, and chairman of the Finnish Olympic Committee from 2005 to 2016.
The Finnish Cup was the national ice hockey cup competition in Finland. It was played from 1955-1958 and from 1964-1971. The Finnish Cup returned to the competition program in autumn 2017. It was attended by all Mestis and Suomi-sarja teams and 27 teams in 2. Divisioona, that is, a total of 54 teams.
Turun Toverit (TuTo) is a sports club based in Turku, Finland. It was established in 1929. Today it is best known of its ice hockey section TuTo Hockey. Other sections include sports like football, basketball, volleyball, wrestling and athletics. TuTo is a member of Finnish Workers' Sports Federation.
Harry Gustaf Lindblad was a Finnish ice hockey administrator, coach and player. He served as the Finnish Ice Hockey Association president for 18 years, after five years as its vice-president. During this time, Finland participated in its first ice hockey tournament at the Winter Olympics, won its first medal in international hockey, began to build indoor ice rinks, hosted two Ice Hockey World Championships, and founded the Finnish Elite League. He was posthumously recognized for his contributions by induction into both the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame and the IIHF Hall of Fame.
Kimmo Leinonen is a Finnish ice hockey executive and writer. He was the director of public relations and marketing for the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) from 1995 to 2007, and held similar positions for SM-liiga and Ilves. He served as general secretary of the 2012 and 2013 Ice Hockey World Championships co-hosted in Finland and Sweden. He also coached junior ice hockey for Ilves, managed the Ilves Naiset who won three Naisten SM-sarja championships, was a scout for the New York Rangers, and a sports commentator for hockey broadcasts in Finland.
