The men's tournament in volleyball at the 2012 Summer Olympics was the 13th edition of the event at the Summer Olympics, organised by the world's governing body, the FIVB, in conjunction with the IOC. It was held in London, United Kingdom from 29 July to 12 August 2012.
The women's tournament of volleyball at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico began on October 15 and ended on October 20, when the Brazil defeated Cuba 3–2 for the gold medal. all games were held at the Pan American Volleyball Complex. The defending champions are Cuba.

Eight teams competed in the tournament. Argentina won the tournament for the first time, Puerto Rico and Cuban won Silver and Bronze. Argentinian Martín Ramos was selected Most Valuable Player.

The competition was held between May and July 2019, and the final round took place in the Credit Union 1 Arena, Chicago, United States. The 2018 Women's Volleyball Kor Royal Cup was the latest edition of the Women's Volleyball Kor Royal Cup, the tournament patronized by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, The Princess Royal of Thailand for women's senior volleyball clubs, also known as 2018 Sealect Tuna Women's Senior Volleyball Kor Royal Cup Thailand Championship due to the sponsorship deal with Sealect Tuna. A total of 6 teams will compete in the tournament.

The 2022 Men's Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the 15th edition of the annual men's volleyball tournament. It was held in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, from 9 August to 14 August. Eight teams competed in the tournament.
