Wes Schuck (April 11, 1975 –May 4, 2015) was an American film and music producer. His credits included executive producer for the film A Stranger in Paradise, [1] and producer for albums by James Apollo and The Gaskets, among others. [2] Schuck ran Two Fish Studios with his wife, Kristi, [3] [4] and No Alternative Films with creative partner Ryan Sturgis. [5] He had been battling stage 4 colon cancer for several years, which had gone into remission in 2014. [4] Schuck died at his home on May 4, 2015 with his wife and three daughters. [5]
A Stranger in Paradise is a 2013 thriller film directed by Corrado Boccia and starring Colin Egglesfield, Catalina Sandino Moreno and Stuart Townsend.
James Apollo is an American singer, bandleader and producer. He was born in Northwest Arkansas and spent formative years in Minneapolis, San Francisco, New York City and Tennessee. He currently lives and works out of Los Angeles.
The Gaskets was an American synth-pop/rock duo formed in Richmond, Virginia in 2001 by Teddy Blanks and Ross Harman. Known for their frenetic stage presence and high-energy songs, Gaskets released two studio albums, and frequently performed in Richmond, New York City and Washington DC.
