Rounds
The show consists of three rounds designed to unravel what goes on in kids minds.
Round 1 The teams choose a child on the screen who will describe someone or something via a pre-recorded film. It is up to the teams to work out what is being described, although the audience is made aware of what is being described due to a caption at the bottom of the screen.
Round 2 This round varies but comes in the form of a physical challenge. E.g., the kids had to paint How Clean is Your House? star Kim Woodburn, or guess the songs performed by the What Do Kids Know? mini maestros
Round 3 The teams are watch a VT of multiple kids talking about one thing some say it right others don't. This round is excluded from the 30-minute repeat.
Round 4 With 60 seconds on the clock each team member must describe to their teammate alternately someone or something that's on their card without using the words of said someone or something. For example, TARDIS, they must say it is Doctor Who's time machine and not it is TARDIS. Again the audience is made aware of what is being described due to a caption at the bottom of the screen.
The rules are quite relaxed as it is a kids game show.
Shooting Stars is a British television comedy panel game broadcast on BBC Two as a pilot in 1993, then as three full series from 1995 to 1997, then on BBC Choice from January to December 2002 with two series before returning to BBC Two for another three series from 2008 until its cancellation in 2011. Created and hosted by double-act Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer, it uses the panel show format but with the comedians' often slapstick, surreal and anarchic humour does not rely on rules in order to function, with the pair apparently ignoring existing rules or inventing new ones as and when the mood takes them.
Spicks and Specks is an Australian music-themed comedic television quiz show. Hosted by Adam Hills and with team leaders Myf Warhurst and Alan Brough, the series originally aired on what was then ABC1 at 8:30pm on Wednesday nights, with the show repeated on Thursdays on ABC2 at 8pm. The previous year's season was repeated every Friday at 2:30pm on ABC1. As of 2021, repeats of old episodes of the show screen at 7:30pm weeknights on ABC TV Plus.
Get the Picture is an American children's game show that aired from March 18 to December 6, 1991, on Nickelodeon. Hosted by Mike O'Malley, the show features two teams answering questions and playing games for the opportunity to guess a hidden picture on a giant screen made up of 16 smaller screens. The show was taped at Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. The program's theme music and game music was composed by Dan Vitco and Mark Schultz, and produced by Schultz. Its tagline is The Great Frame Game.
The Magnificent Marble Machine was an American television game show that featured a giant pinball machine as its centerpiece. The program premiered on NBC on July 7, 1975 at 12:00 pm ET, replacing the short-lived game show Blank Check.

Scattergories is a creative-thinking category-based party game originally published by Parker Brothers in 1988. Parker Brothers was purchased by Hasbro a few years later, which published the game internationally under its Milton Bradley brand. The objective of the 2-to-6-player game is to score points by uniquely naming objects within a set of categories, given an initial letter, within a time limit. The game is based on a traditional game called "Categories".
Trashed was a television game show that ran on MTV from February 14 to July 23, 1994 with Chris Hardwick as host.
Family Feud is an Australian game show based on the American show of the same name. It aired on Network Ten from 14 July 2014 until 22 July 2018 and in August 2020 for a special 10 episode series. The show was hosted by Grant Denyer. This was the fourth Australian version of the format, the previous incarnation being Bert's Family Feud hosted by Bert Newton in 2006. Ten became the third network to adapt the format. From 2016, Ten also screened a celebrity edition titled All Star Family Feud. The show was filmed at Global Television Studios in Southbank, Melbourne from 2014-2017 and at Network Ten Studios in Pyrmont, Sydney in 2018.
My Dad Is Better than Your Dad was a reality sports TV show on NBC that premiered on February 18, 2008. The show was produced by Mark Burnett, producer of other shows like Survivor, The Apprentice, and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, and was hosted by actor Dan Cortese. Four teams of children and their fathers competed in each episode, with the winning team having the chance to win up to $50,000.
Hole in the Wall is a British game show that aired on BBC One in the United Kingdom. It also occasionally aired repeats of this show on CBBC until April 2014. This game was an adaptation of the Japanese game Brain Wall in which players must contort themselves to fit through cutout holes of varying shapes in a large polystyrene wall moving towards them as they stand in front of a swimming pool. Each week, two teams of television personalities competed for £10,000 in prize money to be donated to their chosen charity.
BrainSurge is an American children's game show that aired on Nickelodeon and was hosted by Jeff Sutphen. The show taped its first season in February 2009, and debuted on September 28, 2009. The show's format was adapted from the Japanese game show Brain Survivor. The U.S. version was created by Scott A. Stone, co-creator of another Nick game show, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and Clay Newbill, executive producer of The Mole.

Scream! If You Know the Answer is a British game show presented by Duncan James and narrated by Colin Murray. The games are simple general knowledge, but they are played on the rides at theme park Thorpe Park. Contestants consist of two teams of two, one member of each team being a celebrity.
Family Game Night is an American television game show based on Hasbro's family of board games and EA's video game franchise of the same name. The show is hosted by Todd Newton. Burton Richardson announced for the first two seasons, until he was replaced by Stacey J. Aswad for the third season, and then Andrew Kishino beginning in the fourth season. The 60-minute program debuted on October 10, 2010, on The Hub, formerly Discovery Kids. The network would become Discovery Family on October 13, 2014; it was previewed on October 9, 2010, on its sister channel, TLC. Seasons 1 and 2 each contained 26(1) and 30(2) episodes. Seasons 3, 4 and 5 each contained 15 episodes. Season two premiered on Friday, September 2, 2011, and additional games were added. The games added to the second season included Cranium Brain Breaks, Green Scream, Ratuki Go-Round, Simon Flash, Operation Sam Dunk, Trouble Pop Quiz, and Spelling Bee. However, games from the previous season were still kept.

In March 2017, NBC ordered six hour-long episodes of the series. Ellen DeGeneres serves as host, while Stephen "tWitch" Boss appears as announcer/sidekick. The series is based on game segments from DeGeneres' daytime talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The series premiered on December 18, 2017. On February 18, 2020, DeGeneres announced on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that the series was renewed for a fourth season, which began airing on October 6, 2020.
Richard Osman's House of Games is a British quiz show produced by Endemol Shine UK branch Remarkable Television for the BBC, hosted by Richard Osman. The show is played on a weekly basis, with four celebrities playing on five consecutive days to win daily prizes and the weekly prize of being crowned as "House of Games" champion. Points are accrued depending on where each celebrity finishes on each day and the points are doubled on Friday's show.
