Erich Alfred Windisch was a German Olympic ski jumper who developed in 1949 the jumping technique in which the jumper’s arms are slightly arched and pointing downward. Mariano Hugo, Prince of Windisch-Graetz is the current head of the Austria-Italian House of Windisch-Graetz. He is currently a member of the Grand Magisterium of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. A former ambassador of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Slovakia, he is also currently the Order's ambassador to Slovenia.
Royal Prussian Jagdstaffel 66, commonly abbreviated to Jasta 66, was a "hunting group" of the Luftstreitkräfte, the air arm of the Imperial German Army during World War I. The squadron would score over 97 aerial victories during the war, including seven observation balloons downed. The unit's victories came at the expense of five pilots killed in action, one who died in captivity, and two taken prisoner of war.
