Los Prisioneros was a Chilean rock band formed in San Miguel, Santiago, in 1982. Considered one of the most influential Latin-American bands of all time, they've been evaluated as pioneers of Rock en español by Latin American media and musicians, and one of the strongest socio-political impactful bands in Chile. The group would develop a new wave sound that would have its roots in British punk rock, in particular The Clash, and would incorporate rockabilly, reggae and ska influences, and later synthpop, and would make themselves known for their controversial, witty and subversive lyricism that criticized the socio-economic structures, education and societal attitudes of dictatorship-era Chile and Latin America as a whole. This would cause their music to be banned by the Chilean mainstream media between 1985 and 1990, but their music would continue to spread there, aided by word of mouth and shared homemade cassette tapes.

After the group disbanded in 2010, in November 2016, the band confirmed their return to the scene with the original members.

The 1991 Chilean telethon was the tenth version of the solidarity campaign conducted in Chile, which took place on 29 and 30 November 1991. The theme of this version was "Thanks to You" as a way of thanks to the Chilean public who had participated in the campaign for 13 years.
The 2003 Chilean telethon was the 18th version of the charity campaign held in Chile since 1978, which took place on November 21–22, 2003. As in the previous year the theme of this version was "The Telethon is Yours". The amount of money taken during the day suggested the goal would not be achieved, in the end it required a cash assistance by the Government of Chile to meet the goal. The poster boy chosen for the event was Camilo Valverde.

Sasha, Benny y Erik are a pop-supergroup from Mexico. The group was formed by 3 former members of the Mexican pop group Timbiriche, consisting of Sasha Sokol, Benny Ibarra, and Erik Rubin, who are close friends in real life. With much anticipation by their fans, Sasha, Benny y Erik released the live album Primera Fila: Sasha Benny Erik. The project has enjoyed much success with a national tour that started in late 2012, and has continued through much of 2014. The album has been certified triple platinum + gold in Mexico for sales exceeding 210,000 copies. Originally, the band performed 2 concerts at the National Auditorium in Mexico City, in April 2013, but due to demand, they did two more concerts at the venue in September of that same year. In 2013, they released En Vivo desde el Auditorio Nacional, which got certified as gold a few days after its release. At the end of 2013, the album Primera Fila: Sasha Benny Erik was officially recognized by AMPROFON as the second best-selling album in Mexico that same year. In late 2014, Sasha, Benny y Erik released their first studio album "Vuelta al Sol" and released "Esta Noche" as their first single. The next singles were "Todo tiene su lugar" ,"Japi" and "Punto de partida". In 2015, they performed at National Auditorium twice. In early 2016, they will release a new live album with new songs and hits, performed with several guests. The first single, "Lo Siento" featuring Pepe Aguilar, was released on February 19. In May, "Entre Amigos" was released and the band announced the end of the project in December. The album was certified as Gold some weeks later and they began a farewell tour with a final performance on December 31.

It also is the second-most subscribed channel in the Spanish language, behind Argentine channel El Reino Infantil. He is the most-subscribed YouTuber in Chile.

Lucero has sold more than 16 million records worldwide. She is often referred to as "La Novia De América", although that moniker was previously bestowed to Argentina's Libertad Lamarque.
