The Xiu Xiu / The Dead Science split 7-inch, released in 2005 on Deathbomb Arc, is one of several split EPs by both Xiu Xiu and The Dead Science. Eugene Robinson (of Oxbow) contributed vocals for Xiu Xiu's track, and The Dead Science track has posthumous vocals by outsider artist Shooby Taylor. [1]

Currently, the line-up consists of multi-instrumentalists Stewart, Angela Seo, and percussionist David Kendrick. The band's name comes from the film Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl, which has influenced the sound of their music, according to Stewart.

They have released three full lengths on Absolutely Kosher Records. The Jim Yoshii Pile-Up has recorded with Christopher Walla of Deathcab for Cutie and Xiu Xiu. As of 2006, the band is on hiatus. Architecture & Morality is the third studio album by English electronic band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), released on 6 November 1981 by Dindisc. Inspired by religious music, the group sought to broaden their musical palette by utilising elaborate choral samples, the Mellotron, and other new instruments to create a more naturalistic, emotive sound. Morning Again is an American metalcore band from Florida. They were known for their metallic sound as well as for their straight edge, vegan, anti-religious and anti-government ideals. The band was a "sister band" to Culture, often switching members after one had left the other. Several members went on to play in other bands such as As Friends Rust and Dead Blue Sky. The band was originally from Cooper City, Florida, but moved to Coral Springs in 1998 before breaking up later that year. After playing several reunion shows over the years, the band released a new EP in 2018.
