Yeallow is a French indie rock band from Strasbourg, Alsace, formed in 2008.
The idea for the project was born in Strasbourg. A debut home mixed EP – One – digitally released in 2009 quickly found its audience cosmopolitan and trans-generational. On top of this, they managed to get some international sales is even some promising reviews. In 2009, a viral film for SFR uses the title “Temptation” as the soundtrack for the launch of its new product.
In 2010, the group, composed of five musicians with Pascal (vocals, guitar, keyboard) went back to the studio for their second album. By mixing in analogy at the studio Grenat in Strasbourg and the mastering being taken care of by Jay Franco from Sterling Sound New York (Art Brut, Coldplay,...), Yeallow demonstrated again their ambition to be at the heart of an international scene alternative rock, energetic and neat. “2891 seconds” as the duration of the album, offers the fusion of the world of the five members. It is an elegant mix of analogue and electronic sounds that may suggest roots in the side of Bowie, Lou Reed or Radiohead.
In early 2010, everything accelerated. FNAC partnership initiated by the head of FNAC Strasbourg allowed the group to present their album on a Showcase in all of the Fnac in the country and a physical distribution deal was quickly signed with a national player. Sent to many media, the album got rave reviews from thirty print and web and radio broadcasts in France, Belgium, England, Russia, USA and Japan.
After many concerts in Alsace and especially at the Festival of Artefacts 2010 in front of a large audience, Yeallow played at the Bus Palladium in July 2010. A few venues later and in parallel with a new album in the making, it is at the end of 2010 that Yeallow is approached by a tour and events organizer in California based in Los Angeles. It offered them a dozen dates in the venues and clubs of the city as the Cat Club, the Mess bar, the Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles and in San Francisco at the Kimos. In all, seven dates in California from March 25 to April 8, 2011.
From acoustic concerts (Goom Radio – Live SFR- to more muscular shows, Yeallow takes another dimension in Live. To manage the development of the group and to take the next steps, professional support was needed. Since early 2011, Yeallow entrusted its management to his English manager Amina Martin – Rubis Management LTD – and his booking to David Killhoffer booking agent – Music For Ever (Scorpions, Popa Chubby, Pat MacManus, ...). In July 2011, Pascal left the band.
The four remaining members continue to expand on the international indie rock scene. The band released their album Senses in 2019.

Hot Tuna is an American blues rock band formed in 1969 by former Jefferson Airplane members Jorma Kaukonen (guitarist/vocals) and Jack Casady (bassist). Although it has always been a fluid aggregation, with musicians coming and going over the years, the band's center has always been Kaukonen and Casady's ongoing collaboration.
The Au Pairs were a British post-punk band that formed in Birmingham in 1978 and continued until 1983. They produced two studio albums and three singles. Their songs were said to have "contempt for the cliches of contemporary sexual politics" and their music has been compared to that of the Gang of Four and the Young Marble Giants. The band was led by Lesley Woods, who was once described as "one of the most striking women in British rock".
Alphaville is a German synthpop band formed in Münster in 1982. They gained popularity in the 1980s. The group was founded by singers Marian Gold, Bernhard Lloyd, and Frank Mertens. They achieved chart success with the singles "Forever Young", "Big in Japan", "Sounds Like a Melody", "The Jet Set", and "Dance with Me". Gold remains the only continuous original member of Alphaville. They took their name from Jean-Luc Godard's film Alphaville.
Elf was an American rock band founded in 1967 by singer and bassist Ronnie James Dio, keyboardist Doug Thaler, drummer Gary Driscoll, and guitarists Nick Pantas and David Feinstein. The band was originally called the Electric Elves, but was shortened to the Elves in 1968 and finally Elf in 1972. Elf disbanded in 1975 after recording three albums and after most of the lineup had been absorbed into the newly formed Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow.
Survivor was an American rock band formed in Chicago in 1978 by Jim Peterik and Frankie Sullivan. The band achieved its greatest success in the 1980s, producing many charting singles, especially in the United States. The band is best known for their double-platinum certified 1982 hit "Eye of the Tiger", the theme song for the 1982 motion picture Rocky III. The single spent six weeks at number one in the US. The band continued to chart in the mid-1980s with singles like "Burning Heart", "The Search Is Over", "High on You", "Is This Love", and "I Can't Hold Back."
Afrodisiac is the fourth studio album by American singer Brandy. It was first released on June 25, 2004, by Atlantic Records. The album was recorded primarily in Los Angeles between spring 2003 and early 2004, following several major changes in Brandy's personal and professional life. After giving birth to her daughter and the demise of her relationship with Big Bert, Brandy's team was given an overhaul, including changes in production, management, and A&R. The album marked a departure from her previous work, with Brandy collaborating with producer Timbaland and songwriter Candice Nelson on the majority of the album's composition.
The Shadows were an English instrumental rock group, who dominated the British popular music charts in the pre-Beatles era from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. They served as the backing band for Cliff Richard from 1958 to 1968, and have joined him for several reunion tours.
Art Brut is an English indie rock band. Their debut album, Bang Bang Rock & Roll, was released on 30 May 2005, with its follow up, It's a Bit Complicated, released on 25 June 2007. Named after French painter Jean Dubuffet's definition of outsider art – art by prisoners, loners, the mentally ill, and other marginalized people, and made without thought to imitation or presentation – South London's Art Brut were tagged by NME as part of the "Art Wave" scene that also included bands such as The Rakes, Franz Ferdinand and Bloc Party. The band released further albums, Art Brut vs Satan in 2009 and Brilliant! Tragic! in 2011. A fifth album, Wham! Bang! Pow! Let's Rock Out!", was released in 2018.
Jonathan Julian Hopkins is an English musician and producer who writes and performs electronic music. He began his career playing keyboards for Imogen Heap, and has produced but also contributed to albums by Brian Eno, Coldplay, David Holmes and others.
The Quireboys are an English rock band formed in 1984 in London, with strong ties to Newcastle. Originally known as The Choirboys, then The Queerboys, billed as The London Quireboys in the United States and Canada, settling at last with their current name.
Tomislav "Tomo" Miličević is a Bosnian-American musician and record producer. He was the lead guitarist of the rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars from 2003 to 2018. Born in Sarajevo but raised in the United States, Miličević moved to Troy, Michigan, in the early 1980s, where he became active in the local heavy metal scene and played in a number of bands, co-founding Morphic. In 2003, he joined Thirty Seconds to Mars, with whom he achieved worldwide recognition in the mid-2000s after recording the band's second album A Beautiful Lie (2005). Its full-length follow-ups, This Is War (2009) and Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams (2013), received further critical and commercial success.
Radomir Mihailović, also known as Točak is a Serbian guitarist. He is best known as the guitarist for the Serbian and formerly Yugoslav Smak.
LeftRightLeftRightLeft is the second live album by British rock band Coldplay. It was released on 15 May 2009 as a free download on their website, with physical copies being distributed in all of the succeeding dates from the Viva la Vida Tour. Before Live 2012 was made available, however, the album was removed from the band's website. On 13 August 2021, nearly twelve years after its initial release, the album was made available on streaming services.
Mylo Xyloto is the fifth studio album by British rock band Coldplay, released on 24 October 2011. The band worked closely with producer Brian Eno following their successful collaboration on Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008), the band's previous album.
Be Someone Else is the second studio album by Portuguese singer-songwriter Slimmy. Saul Davies was first set to be the producer of the album, however, such collaboration wasn't possible and Slimmy started working on the album with his longtime producers Quico Serrano and Mark J Turner. Other musicians joined Slimmy for the recording of the album: Paulo Garim in the bass and Tó-Zé in the drums, who already worked with slimmy in Beatsound Loverboy, and Gustavo Silva, in the keyboards and Daniel Santos in the guitar as guest musicians. He mentioned that all production process happened because of him and that he was the one with the "last word" on his projects, not the bands or producers that he worked with. Originally due for release in May 2010, the album's release was pushed back to June 14, 2010. The album was released in three formats: the physical standard edition, the physical deluxe edition with 2 discs and the digital format featuring 10 tracks.
"Another's Arms" is a song by British rock band Coldplay. It is the sixth track from their sixth studio album, Ghost Stories. It was written, produced, and performed by Coldplay, with co-production handled by Daniel Green, Paul Epworth, and Rik Simpson. The song debuted at number 70 on the UK Singles Chart, number 74 in Ireland and number 52 in Switzerland.
"Daddy" is a song by British rock band Coldplay from their eighth studio album Everyday Life. It was written by the band members and produced by The Dream Team, being released on 20 November 2019 along with "Champion of the World" in anticipation for the album's release. The track appears on the Sunrise side of the record. An animated music video for the song directed by Åsa Lucander from Aardman Animations was also released. A female protagonist is shown in a small rowing boat in the middle of the ocean as she tries to go into the unknown. To further promote the song, the band performed it live in Jordan and BBC Radio 1 in London. "Daddy" managed to appear on the New Zealand Hot Singles chart at a position of 38 and on the US Hot Rock & Alternative Songs at number 17.
Music of the Spheres is the ninth studio album by British rock band Coldplay, released on 15 October 2021 by Parlophone in the United Kingdom and Atlantic Records in the United States. The album was produced by Max Martin, who is a new producer to the band's discography. It features guest appearances from Selena Gomez, We Are King, Jacob Collier and BTS, as well as returning contributions from electronic producer Jon Hopkins.
"Coloratura" is a song by British rock band Coldplay from their ninth studio album, Music of the Spheres. It was released on 23 July 2021 as a promotional single in anticipation for the record, being also its closing track. Produced by Max Martin, Oscar Holter and Bill Rahko, the song is the longest ever released by the band, running at 10 minutes and 18 seconds.
