Kimi to Boku. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kiichi Hotta. It was serialized in Square Enix's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Shōnen Gangan from January 2003 to 2004, on Gangan Powered from 2004 to 2009, and on Monthly GFantasy from May 2009 to March 2022. The series follows four teens, Yūta and Yūki Asaba, Shun Matsuoka and Kaname Tsukahara, who grew up together and a half-Japanese transfer student Chizuru Tachibana who joins the circle of friends. An anime television series adaptation by J.C.Staff aired from October to December 2011, and a second season aired from April to June 2012.

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!, also known as Chū-2 for short, is a Japanese light novel series written by Torako, with illustrations provided by Nozomi Ōsaka. The work won an honorable mention in the Kyoto Animation Award competition in 2010, leading the company to assume its publication starting in June 2011. The series follows a high school boy named Yūta Togashi, who tries to discard his embarrassing past grandiose delusions, until he meets a girl named Rikka Takanashi, who exhibits her own signs of chūnibyō syndrome. As their relationship progresses, Yūta and Rikka form a club called the Far East Magical Napping Society Summer Thereof with classmates Shinka Nibutani, Kumin Tsuyuri and Sanae Dekomori, who each have their own unique delusional behaviors.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a 2021 Japanese animated dark fantasy film, based on the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen 0, a prequel to the Jujutsu Kaisen manga series, both created by Gege Akutami. It was directed by Sunghoo Park and written by Hiroshi Seko, with stars Megumi Ogata, Kana Hanazawa, Mikako Komatsu, Kōki Uchiyama, Tomokazu Seki, Yuichi Nakamura, and Takahiro Sakurai. The film is produced by MAPPA. It follows Yuta Okkotsu, a young student who becomes a sorcerer and seeks to control the cursed spirit of his childhood friend Rika Orimoto in Jujutsu High alongside other skilled mates.

Yuta Okkotsu is the protagonist of Gege Akutami's manga Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Yuta Okkotsu is a teenager who is surrounded and helped by the spirit of Rika Orimoto, his childhood friend who died six years before the story and is cursed because both of them promised to get married when they grow up. In November 2016, Yuta met Satoru Gojo, a Jujutsu sorcerer under whose guidance he joined Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School to control Rika's curse. The 2021 Japanese mixed doubles curling Olympic trials were held from September 18 to 20 at the Wakkanai City Midori Sports Park in Wakkanai, Japan. The winning pair of Chiaki Matsumura and Yasumasa Tanida earned the right to represent Japan at the Olympic Qualification Event where they finished with a 2–4 record, not advancing to the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China.
