Yvon Bertin (born 9 April 1953 in Nantes, France) is a former French professional road bicycle racer. He was professional from 1975 to 1982 where he won 11 victories. He wore the yellow jersey for one day in the 1980 Tour de France. Victories included Grand Prix d'Isbergues in 1976, Grand Prix des Rennes 1979 and two stages and overall victory in the Route du Sud of 1979.

Hendrik Gerardus Joseph "Joop" Zoetemelk is a Dutch former professional racing cyclist. He started and finished the Tour de France 16 times, which were both records when he retired. He also holds the distance record in Tour de France history with 62,885 km ridden. He won the 1979 Vuelta a España and the 1980 Tour de France.
Crédit Agricole was a French professional cycling team managed by Roger Legeay. From 1998 to 2008, the team was sponsored by the French bank Crédit Agricole. Prior to 1997, the team was known as Vêtements Z-Peugeot (1987), Z-Peugeot (1988–89), Z (1990–92) and GAN (1993–98). In 1990, the team's leading cyclist, the American Greg LeMond, won the Tour de France. The team also won the team title at the Tour de France that year. Crédit Agricole announced that they would cease to sponsor the team after 2008, and the team was subsequently disbanded.

Cédric Vasseur is a French former professional road racing cyclist, and current general manager of UCI WorldTeam Cofidis. As a rider, Vasseur competed between 1993 and 2007 for the Novemail–Histor, Crédit Agricole, U.S. Postal Service, Cofidis and Quick-Step–Innergetic squads. Vasseur was considered an all-rounder who could do well in a variety of races. He raced in all of the spring classics such as Tour of Flanders and Paris–Roubaix, and won a stage of the Dauphiné Libéré stage race as well as two at the Tour de France.

Patrick Jonker is a retired Australian road bicycle racer from Dutch and German ancestry. He was a professional rider from 1993 to 2004. Jonker represented Australia twice at the Summer Olympics, in 1992 and 1996. He was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder. The highlights of his career include wins in the 1997 Route du Sud, the 1999 Grand Prix de Wallonie and ending his career with a high profile victory in the 2004 Tour Down Under. In 2012, he denied any involvement in doping practices at U.S. Postal Service during his stint in the team in the 2000 season following the Lance Armstrong doping affair. He stated that the seven titles in the Tour de France that Armstrong won should be voided since the doping tests were unreliable at that time in his opinion.
Laurent Desbiens is a French former road cyclist, who competed professionally between 1992 and 2001. He won the 1993 Four Days of Dunkirk and won a stage in the 1997 Tour de France and wore the yellow jersey as leader of the general classification for two days in the 1998 Tour.

François Simon is a French former professional road bicycle racer. He was professional from 1991 to 2002. He is the brother of Régis, Pascal and Jérôme, all professional cyclists. In the 2001 Tour de France, Simon wore the yellow jersey as leader of the general classification for three days and finished as best French finisher in that Tour. Other career highlights include a stage win in the 1992 Giro d'Italia, two stage wins in the Tour de l'Avenir, stage wins in Circuit de la Sarthe, Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré and Paris–Nice as well as being road race champion of France in 1999.
