Al-Wathiqu Billah Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah is the 18th and current Sultan of Terengganu. Abidin Mosque Mosque in Terengganu

The Abidin Mosque is Terengganu's old state royal mosque built by Sultan Zainal Abidin II between 1793 and 1808. The mosque, which is also known as the White Mosque or the Big Mosque, is located in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, Malaysia. The old Royal Mausoleum is situated near the mosque.

Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin

Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin is the 18th public institution of higher learning, located in the state of Terengganu, Malaysia. The university is a creature of the Act of Parliament known as the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971, with its constitution laid down under the Universities and University Colleges (Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin) Order 2010. It is the first full-fledged university in the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia and the first university to be based on the “cluster” concept. It is also the first university in Malaysia to be modelled after University of London, United Kingdom.

Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kuala Nerus District, Terengganu, Malaysia. Together with the adjacent Mini Stadium, it forms the centrepiece of Terengganu Sports Complex. It was used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 50,000 people and is named after the reigning Terengganu Ruler, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin. The biggest stadium in the East Coast region of Peninsular Malaysia, it was built to replace Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium as the state's main stadium. Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin himself, who was then the 13th Yang DiPertuan Agong officiated the stadium on 10 May 2008. Its first major use was as the main venue for Sukma Games 2008.
