Molodyozhnaya was a Soviet, then Russian research station in East Antarctica at 67°40′S 45°50′E. After being mothballed in 1990, it was reopened in 2006 to operate on a seasonal basis. In Russian, the station is sometimes referred to as the capital of Antarctica.

Zykov Island is a small island between Fulmar Island and Buromskiy Island in the Haswell Islands, near Queen Mary Land on Antarctica. It was discovered and first mapped by the Australasian Antarctic Expedition under Douglas Mawson of 1911–14 but mistakenly identified as part of Fulmar Island. Remapped by the Soviet expedition of 1956, it was named for Ye. Zykov, a student navigator who died in Antarctica on February 3, 1957.
Zykov Glacier is a valley glacier about 25 miles (40 km) long in the Anare Mountains, flowing northwest and reaching the coast between Cape Williams and Cooper Bluffs. Photographed by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition in 1958, it was named for student navigator Ye. Zykov, who died in Antarctica, February 3, 1957.

Cooper Bluffs are high, ice-covered coastal bluffs on the east side of Zykov Glacier, near the mouth of the glacier, in the Anare Mountains, a major mountain range lying within Victoria Land, Antarctica. They were named by the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) for Flying Officer G. Cooper, Royal Australian Air Force, a member of the RAAF Antarctic Flight with the ANARE, 1962, which explored the area. The bluffs lie situated on the Pennell Coast, a portion of Antarctica lying between Cape Williams and Cape Adare.
Mount Kostka is a mountain rising to 1,210 metres (3,970 ft) on the west side of Zykov Glacier, 3 nautical miles (6 km) southeast of Saddle Peak, in the Anare Mountains of Antarctica. It was photographed from the air by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946–47. It was surveyed by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition in 1958 and named after Czechoslovakian aerologist O. Kostka, a member of a later Soviet expedition, 1959–61, who perished in a fire at Mirnyy Station on August 3, 1960.
