Ídolos Brazil 3 (known as Ídolos 2008) was the third season of Brazilian reality interactive talent show Ídolos (and first aired on Rede Record), which premiered August 19, 2008 with the season finale airing on December 17, 2008.
Rodrigo Faro was the host and the judging panel was reduced from 4 (in seasons 1 and 2) to 3 and consisted of Luís Calainho, a music and entertainment businessman, Paula Lima, a soul singer/songwriter and Marco Camargo, a Latin Grammy Award winning music producer.
Rafael Barreto won the competition with Rafael Bernardo as the first runner-up and Maria Christina finishing third. [1]

The first day of Theater Week featured the eighty-nine contestants from the auditions round. Divided into groups, each contestant should go on stage and sing a song a capella for the judges until they stopped them. Seventy contestants advanced.
The next round required the contestants to split up in pairs and perform. Forty-five advanced to the final round of Theater requiring a solo performance.
Forty-five made it to the final round, which required the contestants singing solo with the option of playing an instrument. In the end, the judges take the contestants in groups of five and tell them if they made the final thirty.
The thirty semifinalists were randomly split into different groups. Each contestant would then sing in their respective group's night. There were three separate groups and the top three contestants from each group made it to the finals.
Six contestants who failed to make it to the finals were invited back to perform for another chance at a spot in the finals. Only one wildcard contestant (Nanda Garcia) was chosen by the public vote.

Idols was a television show on the Dutch television network RTL 4, which is part of the Idols series based on the popular British show Pop Idol. The show is a contest to determine the best young singer in the Netherlands.
Ídolos was a Brazilian reality television competition to find new solo singing talent. Part of the Idol franchise, it was created by Simon Fuller as a spin-off from the British show Pop Idol, of which two series were broadcast between 2001 and 2003.

The eighth season of Indonesian Idol, also known as Indonesian Idol 2014: A Decade of Dreams, premiered on RCTI on December 27, 2013. Anang Hermansyah and Ahmad Dhani returned as the judges. Agnes Monica was replaced by Tantri of Kotak, and Titi DJ, who returned to the show for her sixth season after her absence in season 6 and 7. Raisa and Indra Lesmana replace Titi and Anang during the Yogyakarta auditions. Later during the Spectacular weeks, Raisa replaced Titi during the Top 9 performances and Tantri during the Top 5. Indra replaced Tantri during the Top 8 performances. Daniel Mananta returns as the host.

This season marks as the first season to have an all-female Top 3 in Indonesian Idol history, and the second season to have an all-female finale since season 7. The winner of the season was 16-year-old Lyodra Ginting, who became the fourth female Indonesian Idol winner in a row since season 7.
Česko Slovenská SuperStar is the joint Czech-Slovak version of Idol series' Pop Idol merged from Česko hledá SuperStar and Slovensko hľadá SuperStar which previous to that had three individual seasons each. The sixth season premiered in winter 2020 with castings held in Prague and Bratislava. It is broadcast on two channels: «TV Nova» and «Markíza» (Slovakia) which have also been the broadcast stations for the individual seasons.
