The 2021 World Men's Curling Championship was held from April 2 to 11 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Canada. The event was originally to be held in Ottawa, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the championship was moved to Calgary. The event was held in a bio-secure bubble at Canada Olympic Park, which also hosted all major Curling Canada championships leading up to the Worlds. All events were held behind closed doors with no spectators.

The 2021 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from May 17 to 23 in Aberdeen, Scotland.

The 2020 World Wheelchair-B Curling Championship was held from April 10 to 15, 2021 in Lohja, Finland. The top three placing teams qualified for the 2021 World Wheelchair Curling Championship in Beijing, China. The United States won the gold medal, defeating the previously undefeated Switzerland 4–3 in the final. Italy took the bronze medal and final berth at the 2021 World Championship with an 8–4 win over Germany in the bronze medal game.

The 2021 Korean Mixed Doubles Curling Championships, Korea's national mixed doubles curling championships, was held July 27 to August 9, 2021 at the Jincheon National Training Centre in Jincheon, South Korea. The winning team will be the Korean National Mixed Doubles Team for the 2021–22 curling season. They will represent South Korea at the Olympic Qualification Event in hopes of reaching the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China and the 2021 World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event, attempting to reach the 2022 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship. The championship was held in two rounds.

The 2021 BOOST National was held November 2 to 7 at the Chestermere Recreation Centre in Chestermere, Alberta. It was the second Grand Slam and second major of the 2021–22 curling season.

The 2021 United States Olympic Curling Trials was held from November 12 to 21, 2021 at the Baxter Arena in Omaha, Nebraska. The trials featured six men's teams and six women's teams who played in a double round robin tournament. After the round robin, the top two teams on each side played a best-of-three playoff to determine the winner. The winner of both the men's and women's events will represent the United States at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China.

The 2022 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from April 23 to 30 at the Curling Club Trois-Chêne in the Geneva Sous-Moulin Sports Center in Thônex, a suburb of Geneva, Switzerland. The event was held alongside the 2022 World Senior Curling Championships. Eve Muirhead and Bobby Lammie of Scotland went undefeated the entire event, beating home team Alina Pätz and Sven Michel of Switzerland 9-7 in the final to win the gold medal.

The 2022 BOOST National was held from October 4 to 9 at the North Bay Memorial Gardens in North Bay, Ontario. It was the first Grand Slam event of the 2022–23 curling season.

The 2022 Everest Canadian Senior Curling Championships was held from December 4 to 10 at the Mariners Centre and the Yarmouth Curling Club in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The winning teams will represent Canada at the 2023 World Senior Curling Championships in Gangneung, South Korea.

The 2023 Princess Auto Players' Championship was held from April 11 to 16 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, Ontario. It was the fifth Grand Slam event and final major of the 2022–23 curling season.
