2013 ECAC Hockey men's ice hockey tournament

The 2013 ECAC Hockey Men's Ice Hockey Tournament was played between March 8 and March 23, 2013 at campus locations and at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States. Union College was the winner of the tournament for the second year in a row and received the ECAC Hockey's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.

Format

The tournament features four rounds of play. In the first round, the fifth and twelfth, sixth and eleventh, seventh and tenth, and eighth and ninth seeds as determined by the final regular season standings play a best-of-three series, with the winner advancing to the quarterfinals. There, the first seed and lowest-ranked first-round winner, the second seed and second-lowest-ranked first-round winner, the third seed and second-highest-ranked first-round winner, and the fourth seed and highest-ranked first-round winner play a best-of-three series, with the winner advancing to the semifinals. In the semifinals, the highest and lowest seeds and second-highest and second-lowest seeds play a single game, with the winner advancing to the championship game and the loser advancing to the third-place game. The tournament champion receives an automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.

The 1990 ECAC Hockey Men's Ice Hockey Tournament was the 29th tournament in league history. It was played between February 27 and March 11, 1990. Preliminary and quarterfinal games were played at home team campus sites, while the 'final four' games were played at the Boston Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. By winning the tournament, Colgate received the ECAC's automatic bid to the 1990 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.

The 2016 ECAC Hockey Men's Ice Hockey Tournament is the 55th tournament in league history. It was played between March 4 and March 19, 2016. First Round and Quarterfinal games were played at home team campus sites, while the final four games were played at the Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, New York. By winning the tournament, the team receives the ECAC's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.

The 2018 ECAC Hockey Men's Ice Hockey Tournament was the 57th tournament in league history. It was played between March 2 and March 17, 2018. First round and quarterfinal games were played at home team campus sites, while the final four games were played at the Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, New York. By winning the tournament Princeton received the ECAC's automatic bid to the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.
