The 2016 Asian Men's Youth Handball Championship was the 7th edition of the Asian Men's Youth Handball Championship held from 27 August - 5 September 2016 at Manama, Bahrain under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. Is also acted as the qualification tournament for the 2017 Men's Youth World Handball Championship to be held in Georgia. [1]

Asian Handball Federation organization

The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) is the governing body of handball and beach handball in Asia. It has 44 member countries, mostly located on the Asian continent, but excludes the transcontinental countries with territory in both Europe and Asia – Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russian Federation and Turkey – which are instead members of European Handball Federation (EHF). Three other states located along the western fringe of Asia – Cyprus, Armenia and Israel – are also EHF members. The 2002 Asian Men's Handball Championship was the tenth Asian Championship. It took place from February 10th to February 19th, 2002 in Isfahan, Iran. The championship was held in Isfahan's Pirouzi Arena. It acts as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2003 World Men's Handball Championship.

The 2008 WAFF Championship was the fifth West Asian Football Federation Championship, an international tournament for West Asian countries and territories. It was hosted by Iran.

2015 World Mens Handball Championship 2015 edition of the World Mens Handball Championship

The 2015 World Men's Handball Championship was the 24th staging of the World Men's Handball Championship, organised by the International Handball Federation (IHF). The final tournament was held for the first time in Qatar, from 15 January to 1 February 2015. The Qatari bid was selected over those of Norway, Poland and France after a vote by the IHF Council on 27 January 2011, in Malmö, Sweden. This is the third time that the World Championship was hosted in the Middle East And North Africa, after Egypt in 1999 and Tunisia in 2005.

The 2011 Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship took place in Almaty from September 14–20. It acts as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2012 Women's Junior World Handball Championship.

2014 Asian Mens Handball Championship

The 2014 Asian Men's Handball Championship was held in Isa Town and Manama, Bahrain, from 25 January to 6 February 2014. It acted as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2015 World Men's Handball Championship in Qatar.

The 2014 Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship is the 14th edition of the Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship held from 2–14 August 2014 at Tabriz, I. R. Iran under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It also acts as the qualification tournament for the 2015 Men's Junior World Handball Championship. Qatar wins the title by beating South Korea in the final match.

2015 Asian Womens Junior Handball Championship

The 2015 Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship is the 13th edition of the Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship which took place from 6–14 August 2015 at Almaty, Kazakhstan. The tournament was held under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It also acts as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2016 Women's Junior World Handball Championship.

The 2016 Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship is the 15th edition of the Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship held from 22 July to 1 August 2016 at Amman, Jordan under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. 2016 Asian Mens Club League Handball Championship

‌The 2016 Asian Men's Club League Handball Championship was the 19th edition of the Asian Club League Handball Championship held under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation.The championship was hosted by Al-Ahli Sports Club in Amman (Jordan) from 29 October to 5 November 2016. Al-Noor Club of Saudi Arabia won the championship by beating two times champion El-Jaish Sports Club of Qatar in the final match by 25-23. Defending Champion Lekhwiya Sports Club of Qatar managed to get bronze medal after beating Gachsaran Oil & Gas Club of Islamic Republic of Iran by 31-21. It is the official competition for men's handball clubs of Asia crowning the Asian champions. The winner of the championship qualified for the 2017 IHF Super Globe.

2017 Asian Womens Handball Championship

The 2017 Asian Women's Handball Championship was the 16th edition of the Asian Women's Handball Championship, which took place from 13 to 22 March 2017 in Suwon, South Korea. The tournament was held under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It was the second time that South Korea hosted the tournament, after the 1995 Championship. It also acted as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2017 World Women's Handball Championship.

2017 Mens Youth World Handball Championship

The 2017 IHF Men's Youth World Championship was the seventh edition of the U-19 tournament and held in Tbilisi, Georgia from 8 to 20 August 2017. All matches were played in two halls at the Olympic Palace.

2018 Asian Mens Handball Championship

The 2018 Asian Men's Handball Championship was the 18th edition of the championship held under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. The championship was hosted at Suwon, South Korea from 18 to 28 January 2018. It acted as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2019 World Men's Handball Championship. For the first time, Australia, New Zealand and Bangladesh participated.

2017 Asian Mens Club League Handball Championship

‌The 2017 Asian Club League Handball Championship was the 20th edition of the championship held under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. The championship was hosted by Handball Federation of India at the Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad (India) from 20 to 30 November 2017. It was the official competition for men's handball clubs of Asia crowning the Asian champions. Al-Najma Club (Bahrain) wins the championship by beating Al-Duhail Club (Qatar) by 21 – 16 in a low scoring match. The winner qualifies for the 2018 IHF Super Globe.

2018 Asian Mens Youth Handball Championship

The 2018 Asian Men's Youth Handball Championship was the 8th edition of the championship held from 16 to 26 September 2018 at Amman (Jordan) under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It was the third time in history that championship was organised in Jordan by the Jordan Handball Federation. The top four teams qualified for the 2019 Men's Youth World Handball Championship to be held in Republic of Macedonia.

2019 Asian Womens Youth Handball Championship

The 2019 Asian Women's Youth Handball Championship was the 8th edition of the championship held from 21 to 30 August 2019 at Jaipur, India under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It was the second time in history that championship was organised in India by the Handball Federation of India. It also acted as the qualification tournament for the 2020 Women's Youth World Handball Championship.
