Garbiñe Muguruza defeated Simona Halep in the final, 6–1, 6–0 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2017 Cincinnati Masters. By losing the final, Halep failed to take advantage of her third opportunity in 2017 to take over the WTA No. 1 singles ranking when the top ranking was only one match win away.
Petra Kvitová defeated Garbiñe Muguruza in the final, 3–6, 6–3, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2018 WTA Qatar Open.
Naomi Osaka defeated Daria Kasatkina in the final, 6–3, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2018 Indian Wells Masters. It was her first WTA Tour title. This was the first time two players under 21 had contested the final since Kim Clijsters and Serena Williams in 2001. At 20 years old, Osaka was the youngest Indian Wells Masters champion since Ana Ivanovic in 2008, and the youngest at any Premier Mandatory event since Caroline Wozniacki at the 2010 China Open. She was also only the third unseeded player to win the tournament after Serena Williams (1999) and Clijsters (2005), and the first Japanese player to win a Premier Mandatory title.

Kiki Bertens defeated Simona Halep in the final, 2–6, 7–6(8–6), 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2018 Cincinnati Masters. En route to her first hard court & Premier 5-level title, Bertens defeated the world No. 2 & No. 1 players, in the second round and final, respectively. She became the first Dutchwoman to win the title.

Bianca Andreescu defeated Angelique Kerber in the final, 6–4, 3–6, 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2019 Indian Wells Open. It was her first WTA Tour title, and Andreescu became the first wildcard champion in the tournament's history, as well as the youngest champion since Serena Williams in 1999. This marked the second consecutive year where a player won the tournament as her first WTA Tour singles title.
Ashleigh Barty defeated Karolína Plíšková in the final, 7–6(7–1), 6–3 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2019 Miami Open. It was Barty's first WTA Premier Mandatory title. She entered the top 10 in the WTA rankings for the first time with the win.

Shuko Aoyama and Ena Shibahara defeated Hayley Carter and Luisa Stefani in the final, 6–2, 7–5, to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2021 Miami Open. Aoyama and Shibahara's first WTA 1000 victory earned them their third title of the year and made them the first Japanese champions in Miami since Ai Sugiyama in 2008.
Iga Świątek defeated Karolína Plíšková in the final, 6–0, 6–0 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2021 Italian Open. It was her first WTA 1000 singles title, and the 13 points Świątek lost in the championship match is the fewest on record in a WTA 1000-level final. This was the first WTA Tour singles final to be resolved with a 'double bagel' scoreline since Simona Halep defeated Anastasija Sevastova at the 2016 Bucharest Open, and was just the tenth such final in WTA Tour history. With the win, Świątek broke into the top 10 of the WTA rankings for the first time. Both finalists saved match points in prior rounds – Świątek saved two match points in her third round match against Barbora Krejčíková, whilst Plíšková saved three match points in her quarterfinal match against Jeļena Ostapenko.
Camila Giorgi defeated Karolína Plíšková in the final, 6–3, 7–5 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2021 Canadian Open. It was her third career WTA Tour title, her first at the WTA 1000 level, and her first since Linz in 2018.
Ashleigh Barty defeated Jil Teichmann in the final, 6–3, 6–1 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2021 Cincinnati Masters. Barty did not drop a set en route to her first Cincinnati Masters title. It was her fifth and last title of the season, her third WTA 1000 title, and her 13th career WTA Tour singles title.

Liudmila Samsonova defeated Kaia Kanepi in the final, 4–6, 6–3, 6–3 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 Washington Open. Kanepi was aiming to win her first title since 2013, and to be the oldest player to win a WTA Tour title since Serena Williams in 2020.
