Angelo Frigerio was an Italian bobsledder who competed during the 1960s. He won the silver medal in the four-man event at the 1963 FIBT World Championships in Igls.
Frigerio later became a bobsleigh coach.
Pierre Fritz Lueders is a Canadian Olympic, world and World Cup champion bobsledder who competed from 1990 to 2010. He piloted both two-man and four-man bobsleigh, retiring after the 2010 Winter Olympics. He was named to Canada's Sports Hall of Fame in 2012.
Sandis Prūsis is a Latvian bobsledder. Started training in 1980. Professional career from 1990 to 2003. Competing in three Winter Olympics, he earned his best finish in the two-man event at Nagano in 1998, he got fifth place. Prūsis's best Bobsleigh World Cup finish was second two times, all in the four-man event.
André Lange is a retired German bobsledder and the most successful bob pilot of all time. Competing at the 2002, 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics, he has won four gold and one silver medals. Lange originally started his sledding career as a luger, taking up bobsleigh in 1993.
Alexandr Yuryevich Zubkov is a Russian retired bobsledder who has competed since 1999. Competing in four Winter Olympics, he won two medals with a silver in 2006 (four-man) and a bronze in 2010 (two-man). On 24 November 2017, he was found guilty of doping offences and stripped of his medals from the 2014 Winter Olympics.
Gustav Weder is a Swiss bobsledder who competed from the late 1980s to the early 1990s. Competing in three Winter Olympics, he won four medals with two gold, one silver, and one bronze.
Günther Huber is an Italian bobsledder who competed in the 1990s. Before taking up bobsledding, he had originally started his sporting career in luge, with his most notable result being a third place in doubles in the 1982 World Junior Luge Championships: he switched to bobsleigh in 1988.

The Jamaican national bobsleigh team represents Jamaica in international bobsledding competitions. The team first gained fame during their debut in the 1988 Winter Olympic Games four-man bobsled in Calgary, Alberta, where they were seen as underdogs as they represented a tropical nation in a winter sport. The team returned to the Winter Olympics in the two-man bobsled in 1992, 1994, 1998, 2002, 2014, and with a women's team for the first time in 2018. The team either failed to qualify or did not have a team during the other Winter Olympics.
Meinhard Nehmer is an East German bobsledder who competed from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s. Competing in two Winter Olympics, he won four medals with three golds and one bronze. Nehmer also carried the East German flag during the opening ceremonies of the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck.

He won a complete set of medals at the FIBT World Championships with a gold in four-man (1977), a silver in two-man (1978, and a bronze in four-man. He also took a silver in the European Championships in 1978 in the four-man event. Bethge also competed at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, finishing fourth in the four-man event and seventh in the two-man event.
Hans Hiltebrand is a Swiss bobsledder who competed from the late 1970s to the late 1980s. He won five medals at the FIBT World Championships with two golds and three silvers (Two-man: 1982, 1987; Four-man: 1981.
John Alun Adolphus Herbert in Meadows, Nottingham is a graduate of Central Art and Design. A retired English sportsperson, who represented Great Britain as both a triple jumper and a bobsledder. Competing in athletics, he won the gold medal for England in the Triple Jump at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh. During his career in athletics Herbert also competed in the sport of bobsleigh. He competed in the four-man bobsleigh event at the 1994 Winter Olympics, having previously competed as a triple jumper at the Los Angeles 1984 Summer Olympics when he finished 10th and the Seoul 1988 Summer Olympics.
Lee Johnston is an English bobsledder who has competed since 1995. Competing in three Winter Olympics he earned his best finish of tenth in the two-man event at Salt Lake City in 2002.
