Armenia Avenue in Tampa, Florida is home to many Latin American restaurants including numerous Colombian cuisine restaurants and bakeries. It was known as Armina Avenue originally and was once lined with cigar factories, including the Armina Cigar Factory. It was part of the then independent city of West Tampa. [1] Several historic buildings are located on the street. A. Sanataella Cigar Factory established a factory on Armenia a in 1908. It was closed in 1989. The Arenas Building is a brick structure from 1932. Garcia and Vega Company opened a factory in 1907. The site may have been occupied earlier by the Bonded Havana Cigar Company. It also was used by the Oliva Tobacco Company [2]

Ybor City Museum State Park

Ybor City Museum State Park is a Florida State Park in Tampa, Florida's Ybor City. The museum occupies the former Ferlita Bakery building at 1818 9th Avenue in the Ybor City Historic District. The bakery was known for producing cuban bread and its ovens are part of the museum displays covering the history of the cigar industry and the Latin community from the 1880s through the 1930s. There is also an ornamental garden in the building.

The Ybor City Historic District is a U.S. National Historic Landmark District District located in Tampa, Florida. The district is bounded by 6th Avenue, 13th Street, 10th Avenue and 22nd Street, East Broadway between 13th and 22nd Streets. Ybor City contains a total of 956 historic buildings, including an unparalleled collection of architecture with Spanish-Cuban influence, as well as historic cigar factory buildings and associated infrastructure. The area was developed by businessman Vicente Martinez Ybor beginning in 1886, and was for a time the world's leading supplier of cigars.

Yerevan Brandy Company, commonly known with its famous brand "ArArAt", is the leading enterprise of Armenia for the production of cognac. It was founded in 1887, during the period of the Russian Empire. After the Sovietization of Armenia, the factory became a state-owned enterprise. In 1999, the government of independent Armenia sold the factory to the French Pernod Ricard company for distilled beverages. The variety of the company's cognac products are labeled and publicized as ArArAt.
