The Telia office in Trondheim consists mainly of sales, customer service and technical departments. Telia was for a while the exclusive carrier for iPhone in Norway, until Telenor signed an agreement with Apple Inc. to also distribute the device in Scandinavia.

The Bratsberg Line is a 74-kilometre long (46 mi) railway line between Eidanger and Notodden in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. It opened in 1917, connecting the Tinnos Line, the Sørland Line and the Vestfold Line; allowing Norsk Hydro to transport fertilizer from their plant at Rjukan to the port in Skien. In December 2019, it had more than 4 million subscription customers. 2.8 million of the customers were using a mobile network and 1.24 million were using a fixed network. DNA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Telenor.

The company was founded in 2006 by small group of people from Telenor and NetCom (Norway). Together with Siemens - during a few months in 2006/2007 - they built a new mobile operator from scratch and had a commercial launch of the GSM-900 network in 2007. This is probably one of the quickest launches of a mobile operator in history. Their network covered the greater Oslo area, as well as the cities of Stavanger and Trondheim. Outside these cities, customers could roam on the network of the Norwegian operator Netcom Norway.

Get AS was a Norwegian cable-TV operator and internet service provider. Today, Telia operates a country-wide network under the Get brand. It has the second largest customer base of the providers in Norway. Until 2006 Get was a part of UPC Broadband. In September 2014, Get was purchased by Danish telecommunications company TDC A/S. In July 2018, Swedish telecom operator Telia Company has agreed to buy GET and TDC Norway for $2.6 billion.

The European Partnership for Railway Energy Settlement Systems (ERESS) is a European Partnership for Railway Energy Settlement Systems. The ERESS railway energy settlement system, Erex, provides energy metering services and enables the industry to measure, control and bill for the actual energy consumed by trains. At any given time there will be numerous trains active on the railway network. Trains consume electricity from the grid, for which they need to pay according to their use. The national authority, represented by an infrastructure manager, is responsible for billing this use. The infrastructure manager sends an energy bill to the train companies. In Europe before ERESS, most infrastructure managers used estimates to bill train energy consumption.
