Plot
Jux Jonas (Mike Norris) is a man whose faith in God is precarious. His daughter was hit and killed by a car, and he has spent the last few years "tearing through life", not wanting to face the pain and return to his faith. Reluctantly, he journeys with friends Conrad (David A. R. White) and Oren (Carey Scott) aboard a plane to Mexico, to hand out Bibles as a form of ministry. However, their small aircraft soon crashes, and the trio find themselves in the secluded wasteland of Ceres, a town where the citizens are pale and eerie, and visitors are seen as unwanted outsiders.
Before long, Jux and his pals discover something very weird in this place: No communication to the outside world seems to exist until local rancher Matthew (Chuck Norris) offers him the use of his two-way radio. The town at large despises Matthew and what he stands for. It is soon revealed that town elder Joshua (Marshall R. Teague) is actually an agent of Satan who has controlled the children of Ceres for centuries to bring about an unholy war. God has sent Matthew to observe, protect, and lead broken believers like Jux back to their faith in Jesus Christ. As the forces of evil prepare for a spiritual Armageddon, using the town's children as terrifying hosts, even Matthew cannot interfere alone, and Jux, Conrad and Oren must choose which side they will stand with for all eternity.

David Andrew Roy White is an American actor, film director, screenwriter, film producer and businessman. He is a co-founder of Pinnacle Peak Pictures, a distribution and production company specializing in Christian faith- and family-themed films. He is best known for his role as Reverend Dave in the God's Not Dead film series.
Marshall R. Teague is an American film and television actor known for his balance of starring roles with powerful supporting characters, allowing him to build a varied and pivotal body of work. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is of English, French, and Cherokee ancestry. At age nine, he spent time with relatives throughout Asia, where he began a passion for the martial arts training in Korean Kuk Sool Won Hapkido. He holds black belts in both Korean Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do. Marshall joined the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam. While serving in the 6th Fleet, he won NATO heavyweight kickboxing championship. Upon retiring from military service, Marshall entered the sheriff's department in Shelby County, Tennessee (Memphis). While working undercover, he found acting lessons had become pivotal. In 1978, Marshall moved to Los Angeles, becoming a full-time actor.

Richard Norton is an Australian martial artist, actor, stunt performer, stunt coordinator, security consultant, and fight choreographer. He holds a 5th dan black belt in Gōjū-ryū karate, a 6th dan black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, an 8th dan black belt in Chun Kuk Do, and a level 6 ranking in American kickboxing. After high school, Norton worked as a bodyguard in the entertainment business before pursuing an acting career.

The film describes a fictional attack on American society by the federal government, working in concert with a global "Elitist" organization and the United Nations. Heavin has said that he regards the events in the film as a "very real threat".
