The Hong Kong Open is a golf tournament which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the European Tour. It was founded in 1959 and in 1962 was one of the five tournaments that made up the inaugural Far East Circuit, later known as the Asia Golf Circuit. It remained part of the circuit until 1996, before joining the Asian Tour, then known as the Omega Tour, in 1997. It became co-sanctioned by the European Tour in 2001, as part of the 2002 season.

It began in 2015 and was played at Heritage Golf Club in Bel-Ombre, Mauritius. In 2016 and 2018 the tournament was held at Anahita Golf Club, returning to Heritage Golf Club in 2017 and in 2019. The 2015 and 2016 events were played in May but in 2017 it was moved to December and was part of the 2018 European Tour schedule.

Founded in 2019 as an event on the European Tour, in 2022, it became the flagship event on the Asian Tour with a new title sponsor, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), a Saudi government sovereign wealth fund.
The Bank of Hope LPGA Match Play is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour in Las Vegas, Nevada. It debuted on the LPGA Tour in 2021 at the Shadow Creek Golf Course as the only match play tournament on the schedule.
