Blanche Channel is a strait and waterway in the Western Province of the Solomon Islands.

Western Province (Solomon Islands) Province in Gizo, Solomon Islands

Western Province is the largest of the nine provinces of Solomon Islands. The area is renowned for its beautiful tropical islands, excellent diving and snorkelling, coral reefs and WWII wrecks, ecotourism lodges, and head-hunting shrines. The province contains many small lagoons and most of the country's tourist trade outside Honiara.

It lies between New Georgia Island and Vangunu island on the northeast, and Rendova Island and Tetepare Island on the southwest.

Vangunu island

Vangunu is an island, part of the New Georgia Islands in the Solomon Islands. It is located between New Georgia and Nggatokae Island. To the north and east of the island is Marovo Lagoon. The island has an area of 509 square kilometres.

Rendova Island island

Rendova is an island in the Western Province of the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific, east of Papua New Guinea.

Tetepare Island island

Tetepare Island is the largest uninhabited island in the South Pacific, located at 8.716667°S 157.55°E. It is a part of Western Province of the Solomon Islands. It covers approximately 118 square kilometres. Tetepare supports pristine lowland rainforest and a rich inshore marine area. The meaning of the name is uncertain; it most probably means "wild pig" or "fighting boar" because the island was famous for these animals among inhabitants of the region.

The channel opens to the Solomon Sea at both its east and west ends.

Kennedy Island island

The strait is named for Captain Edward Manning, of Pitt, who was the first European to sail through the straits and chart it in 1792.
