Bob Mackowycz

Bob Mackowycz, Jr. (born 1969) [1] is a Canadian musician, writer and broadcaster.

The son of writer and radio program director Bob Mackowycz, Sr., he first became prominent as a rock musician with the band Glueleg. [2] He later moved into radio and television production, producing TSN's Off the Record [3] and CBC Television's The Hour . As a broadcaster, he hosted talk programming on Toronto's CFRB, as well as being Tom Allen's regular substitute host on CBC Radio 2's Radio 2 Morning , before being named the latter program's new permanent host in November 2009. Mackowycz also served as a regular contributor to Radio 2's The Strombo Show .

He earned a 2008 National Screen Institute Drama Prize for the script to the film short The Way It Used to Be. He graduated from the Canadian Film Centre's Prime Time Television program.

On July 18, 2011, Mackowycz announced that he would be leaving the CBC following the July 25 edition of Radio 2 Morning and was succeeded as host of Radio 2 Morning by Tom Power.

Mackowycz later joined Toronto sports radio station CHUM (TSN Radio 1050), as a co-host of drive-home show, Cybulski and Company. On February 18, 2013, after Cybulski left TSN, Mackowycz was moved to the 9 AM to 12 PM timeslot as a co-host for Macko & Cauz alongside Matthew Cauz. [4]

James Cybulski is a Canadian broadcaster. Previously, Cybulski worked as a host of Cybulski and Company on TSN Radio 1050. Prior to his role on TSN Radio 1050, Cybulski also worked as a television sportscaster, and a reporter for SportsCentre on TSN. It was announced in early February 2013 that Cybulski was leaving TSN altogether to pursue other opportunities. In late June 2013, Sportsnet hired Cybulski as their anchor and reporter for Sportsnet Central on Sportsnet Pacific in August. On January 23, 2014, Cybulski and Caroline Cameron were named the co-anchors for the morning edition of Sportsnet Central. Cybulski worked at Sportsnet until March 2016. In a June 2019 Game Informer article, it was announced that Cybulski would be replacing Mike Emrick as the play-by-play commentator for the upcoming EA Sports title, NHL 20.

9 Channel Nine Court is an office and studio complex owned by Bell Media in the Agincourt neighbourhood of Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The civic address of the complex refers to the over-the-air channel on which CFTO-TV, the building's original tenant, broadcast. It is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Highway 401 and McCowan Road near the Scarborough City Centre.

Mike Hogan is a Canadian sportscaster who is a sports talk radio host on TSN Radio 1050 in Toronto, Ontario. He also serves as the play-by-play voice for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League for that station's gameday broadcasts. Hogan was formerly a long time sports talk radio host on Toronto station CJCL (AM), branded "The Fan 590", until he was relieved of those duties on June 24, 2010. TSN Radio

TSN Radio is a semi-national sports radio brand and part-time network in Canada carried on AM radio stations owned by Bell Media Radio. The TSN Radio brand, and some of the stations' content, is shared with Bell Media's television sports channel, The Sports Network. With the American sports media company ESPN being a minority shareholder in TSN, most of the stations also air some ESPN Radio programming, usually on weekends and/or overnight.
