Martha Elenor Maguire is an American musician who is a founding member of both the all-female alternative country band The Chicks and country bluegrass duo Court Yard Hounds. She won awards in national fiddle championships while still a teenager. Erwin is accomplished on several other instruments, including the mandolin, viola, double bass and guitar. She has written and co-written a number of the band's songs, some of which have become chart-topping hits. She also contributes her skills in vocal harmony and backing vocals, as well as orchestrating string arrangements for the band.

Street performance is practiced all over the world and dates back to antiquity. People engaging in this practice are called street performers or buskers in the United Kingdom. Outside of New York, buskers is not a term generally used in American English.
Damien George Rice is an Irish singer-songwriter. He began his career as a member of the 1990s rock group Juniper, who were signed to Polygram Records in 1997. The band enjoyed moderate success in Ireland with two released singles, "The World is Dead" and "Weatherman". After leaving the band in 1998, Rice worked as a farmer in Tuscany and busked throughout Europe before returning to Ireland in 2001 and beginning a solo career. The rest of Juniper went on to perform under the name Bell X1.
David Anthony Brock is an English singer-songwriter and musician. He plays electric guitar, keyboards, bass and oscillators. He is a founder, sole constant member and musical focus of the English space rock group Hawkwind. Brock was honoured with a lifetime achievement award at the annual Progressive Music Awards in 2013.
Gregg Alexander is an American musician, singer-songwriter and producer. He is best known as the frontman of the New Radicals, who had an international hit with "You Get What You Give" in late 1998. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he recorded two solo albums, Michigan Rain and Intoxifornication. He dissolved the New Radicals in 1999 to focus on production and songwriting work, winning a Grammy Award for the song "The Game of Love" in 2003. He later co-wrote songs for the film Begin Again, including "Lost Stars", which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.
Milk Kan is a musical duo from south London, England, formed in 2003. Their EPs, the acoustic "Bling!" (2003) and "Wat U See Ain't Wat U Get" were followed, in December 2005, by a single, "Bling Bling Baby" and their later single, "God with an Ipod". Milk Kan began as Scrappy Hood and Jimmy Blade busked with their mothers’ guitars on London's trains, tubes and late night buses, crafting their mix of Guthrie storytelling, punk energy and old skool hip hop. Following the release of their bedroom-recorded first single in 2004, they swapped public transport busking for the lower east side of New York City, playing local open mic haunts before returning to London and signing with PIAS Records. In late 2007, Milk Kan moved to the east London independent record label, BLANG. Their first album was released in March 2009.
