The Broads is a network of mostly navigable rivers and lakes in the English counties of Norfolk and Suffolk. The lakes, known as broads, were formed by the flooding of peat workings. The Broads, and some surrounding land, were constituted as a special area with a level of protection similar to a national park by the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads Act 1988. The Broads Authority, a special statutory authority responsible for managing the area, became operational in 1989.

Martham Broad is a 60-hectare (150-acre) national nature reserve north of Great Yarmouth in Norfolk. The River Thurne is a river in Norfolk, England in The Broads. Just 7 miles (11 km) long, it rises 2 miles (3.2 km) from the coast near Martham Broad and is navigable from West Somerton. It flows southwest and is linked by Candle Dyke and Heigham Sound to both Horsey Mere and Hickling Broad. It continues southwest and flows through Potter Heigham and enters the River Bure just south of Thurne dyke, near St Benet's Abbey.

The Saints are a group of villages in the north of the English county of Suffolk, between the rivers Blyth and Waveney near to the border with Norfolk. The villages are all named after a saint, and either South Elmham or Ilketshall named after the 'hall of Alfkethill'. Known by locals as 'up the Parishes' the area is found between the market towns of Halesworth, Harleston, Bungay and Beccles. During World War II signposts were removed which resulted in many US Airman having difficulty finding the way back to RAF Bungay at Flixton and other local airfields including Metfield.
Lac des Arcs is a hamlet in Alberta, Canada within the Municipal District (M.D.) of Bighorn No. 8. It is located on the south side of the Bow River opposite the Hamlet of Exshaw and has an elevation of 1,320 metres (4,330 ft). Highway 1 borders Lac des Arcs on the south.
Horstead with Stanninghall is a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk which is also known as 'The Gateway of The Broads' consisting of the former parishes of Horstead and Stanninghall. It covers an area of 11.54 km2 (4.46 sq mi) and had a population of 1007 in 435 households at the 2001 census, including Crostwick and the population increasing to 1,184 in 506 households at the 2011 census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of Broadland. As well as Stanninghall, Horstead also includes the hamlets of Largate and Heggatt.
Raynham Park railway station was a station in Norfolk, England. It was opened in the 19th century as part of the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway main line from the Midlands to the Norfolk Coast. It closed in 1959 along with the rest of the line.

Heigham Holmes is a national nature reserve located within the Norfolk Broads in the English county of Norfolk. The reserve is, in effect, an island, being surrounded by the river channels, drainage ditches and wetland areas of the Broads. It is only accessible by an unusual floating swing bridge across the River Thurne from the village of Martham.
Upper Thurne Broads and Marshes is a 1,185.9-hectare (2,930-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Great Yarmouth in Norfolk. Part of it is a Nature Conservation Review site, Grade I, and it is in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is part of the Broadland Ramsar site and Special Protection Area, and The Broads Special Area of Conservation. Two areas, Hickling Broad and Martham Broad, are national nature reserves managed by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust.
Dillington Carr is a 55-hectare (140-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Dereham in Norfolk.
