The D'Antignac House near Crescent, Georgia was a historic house built c. 1790, when George Washington was president, that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
It was a Federal style raised coastal cottage. [2]
It was demolished without warning to neighbors or anyone else on the night of July 8–9, 2007, and the property was listed for sale at $5,175,000. [2] The property had been rezoned to allow development on the property with condition that the historic house be preserved. [3]

The Ruth Stone House is a historic house at 788 Hathaway Road in Goshen, Vermont. This 19th-century farmhouse was for many years the home of poet Ruth Stone (1915-2011). Since her death, the property has been taken over by the Ruth Stone Foundation, established in 2013 to manage her legacy. The organization's intent is to establish the house as a writer's retreat. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.
