Devil's Film is an American independent pornographic film studio, based in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, California. Launched in 1997, the studio continues to specialize in swinger and gang bang oriented gonzo pornography and niche product centered on such popular fetishes as interracial pornography, transsexual pornography, and MILF pornography.

History

Devil's Film entered the adult parody market in 2009 with the release of Coctomom, a spoof inspired by tabloid sensation Nadya Suleman ("Octomom") after giving birth to octuplets through in vitro fertilisation. [1] Parodies of HBO's Big Love , AMC's Mad Men, ABC's The Bachelor and NBC's The Biggest Loser soon followed, along with send-ups of Fast Times at Ridgemont High and the entire Twilight Saga . Management

In April 2013, Giant Media Group, the parent company of Pipedream Products, announced the acquisition of Devil's Film. [6]

Operations

Devil's Film is also home to lesbian shingle The L Factor and transsexual studio GoodFellas Productions, producer of America's Next Top Tranny, a parody of The CW's long-running reality series America's Next Top Model . [7] [8]

The 25th AVN Awards was an event during which Adult Video News (AVN) presented its annual AVN Awards to honor the best pornographic movies and adult entertainment products of 2007 in the United States.

The NightMoves Awards are given annually in the pornographic film industry by NightMoves, an Oldsmar, Florida-based magazine which was first published in 1987 and initially titled Sports South. The awards began in 1993 and were initially titled the Central Florida Adult Entertainment Awards. It is the third oldest continuously running adult awards show in the United States, after the AVN Awards and the XRCO Awards. It also marks the start of the porn industry's awards season. In addition to the show's national awards, local awards are also given to sexually oriented businesses and dancers in the Tampa Bay Area. Two awards are given for each national category: one which is chosen by fans and the other one which is chosen by the editors of NightMoves magazine. An online voting ballot is available for approximately three months every year for the fan's choice awards. Recipients of the editor's choice awards are chosen based on film reviews.

The 2nd Annual Tranny Awards was a pornographic awards event recognizing the best in transgender pornography form the previous year from November 1, 2008 to 31 October 2009. Nominations were announced online in December, 2009 online at trannyawards.com. The winners were announced online on January 9, 2010. The winners were decided by a panel of industry judges.

The 4th Annual Tranny Awards was a pornographic awards event recognizing the best in transgender pornography form the previous year from November 1, 2010, to 31 October 2011. December 12, 2011, online on the trannyawards.com website. The winners were announced during the awards on February 19, 2012.
