Ebell of Long Beach was a women's club in Long Beach, California. It was one of the largest women's clubs in Southern California, and was organized November 16, 1896, with seventeen charter members. It was a chapter of the Ebell Society. In the 1920s it had well over one thousand member and twenty departments.

The 322-acre campus is the third largest of the 23-school California State University system (CSU) and one of the largest universities in the state of California by enrollment, its student body numbering 37,776 for the Fall 2016 semester.
