European Men's U-20 Handball Championship

The European Men's U-20 Handball Championship is the official competition for junior men's national handball teams of Europe, held by the European Handball Federation every two years.

Contents

In addition to crowning the European champions, the tournament also serves as a qualifying tournament for the IHF Junior World Handball Championship.

The European Women's Handball Championship is the official competition for senior women's national handball teams of Europe, and takes place every two years. They have participated four times in the World Championship, reaching an all-time best 10th place in 2021, and seven times in the European Championship, with a 6th place in 2020 as their best placing. They participated in the men's handball tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, their first-ever Olympic appearance, finishing in 9th place.

Hellenic Handball Federation

The Hellenic Handball Federation (OXE) is the governing body of handball and beach handball in Hellenic Republic (Greece). Founded in 1979, OXE is affiliated to the International Handball Federation and European Handball Federation. OXE is also affiliated to the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the Mediterranean Handball Confederation. It is based in Athens.

The 2022 Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship will be the 17th edition of the championship scheduled to be held from 15 to 24 July 2022 in Manama, Bahrain under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation (AHF). It will be the second time in history that the championship will be organised by the Bahrain Handball Federation (BHF). It also acts as a qualification tournament for the 2023 Men's Junior World Handball Championship, with top four teams from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be jointly hosted by Germany and Greece.
