Introduction

Articles appearing in Gender & Society analyze gender and gendered processes in interactions, organizations, societies, and global and transnational spaces. The journal primarily publishes empirical articles, including qualitative, quantitative, and comparative-historical methodologies. [1]

Gender & Society is abstracted and indexed in over 70 databases including Scopus and the Social Sciences Citation Index. [2] According to Journal Citation Reports , the journal has a 2017 impact factor of 2.36, ranking it 2nd out of 42 journals in the category "Women's Studies" and 20th out of 146 journals in the category "Sociology." IJFAB: International Journal of Feminist Approaches to Bioethics is a biannual peer-reviewed academic journal providing a forum in bioethics for feminist thought and debate. Mary Rawlinson was its inaugural editor (2006) and served in that capacity until she stepped down in 2016. Gender and Education is a peer-reviewed journal, published eight times a year by Taylor and Francis with a focus on global perspectives on education, gender and culture.

Foreign aid for gender equality in Jordan includes programs funded by governments or non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that aim to empower women, close gender based gaps in opportunity and experience, and promote equal access to education, economic empowerment, and political representation in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
