The Windsor Lancers are the varsity athletic teams that represent the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The school's varsity program supports 9 different sports. Their mascot is a lancer and the team's colours are blue and gold. The varsity teams compete in the Ontario University Athletics provincial conference and the national U Sports organization. The school joined the Ontario-Quebec Athletic Association in 1952.

The Flint Fuze were a professional basketball team located in Flint, Michigan, United States, in 2001. They were a part of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) and played their home games at the IMA Sports Arena. Former National Basketball Association journeyman Jeff Grayer helped create the franchise and served as the team's initial head coach. After the 2001 season, low attendance forced the Fuze to relocate to Birch Run, Michigan, and become the Great Lakes Storm. After the 2004 season, the franchise folded.
The American Professional Football League (APFL) was an indoor football league that was founded in 2003. After the 2012 season, most of the teams left to start the Champions Professional Indoor Football League. The league consisted of professional and semi-professional teams, with a few core teams that played a full 10 game schedule and other teams that played partial schedules. At the end of each season, the playoffs were contested between the league's core teams. The Wisconsin Badgers are an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Big Ten Conference. The Badgers' home games are played at the Kohl Center, located on the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus in Madison, Wisconsin. Wisconsin has 1,683 wins through the end of the 2022–23 season which is top 50 all-time among Division I college basketball programs. Wisconsin has appeared in the NCAA tournament 27 times.

Allison LeClaire is an American former professional basketball player currently serving as an assistant coach for the Eastern Illinois Panthers women's basketball team. LeClaire attended Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and played college basketball for the University of Wisconsin—Green Bay. LeClaire went on to play professionally overseas for the Liffey Celtics of the Irish Women's Super League and Young Angels Košice of the Slovak Women's Basketball Extraliga before returning to the United States to coach.
