Granville Van Dusen (born March 16, 1944 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota) is an American stage, screen, and voice actor who portrayed Race Bannon in the 1986 television series The New Adventures of Jonny Quest , Jonny's Golden Quest , Jonny Quest vs. The Cyber Insects , and two episodes of The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest .
Van Dusen appeared on CBS daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless and ABC's Port Charles . He was also the second actor to portray attorney Walter Telford on the Canadian-based soap opera, High Hopes . He also has appeared in the sitcom Soap as a doctor taking care of, and ultimately falling for, Jessica Tate (portrayed by actress Katherine Helmond). He also appeared in many TV series such as Kojak ; The Bionic Woman ; CHiPs ; Three's Company ; Matlock ; Diagnosis: Murder ; Walker, Texas Ranger ; Barnaby Jones ; Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman ; Rhoda ; The Eddie Capra Mysteries ; Magnum, P.I. ; Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman ; and The West Wing .

Nicholas John Tate is an Australian actor popularly known for his roles as pilot Alan Carter in the 1970s science fiction television series Space: 1999, and James Hamilton in the 1980s Australian soap opera Sons and Daughters.
Jonny Quest is a science fiction-adventure media franchise that revolves around the titular boy named Jonny Quest, who accompanies his scientist father on extraordinary adventures. The franchise started with a 1964–1965 television series of the same name, and has come to include two subsequent television series, two television films, and three computer games.
Jonathan Gregory Brandis was an American actor. Beginning his career as a child model, Brandis moved on to acting in commercials and subsequently won television and film roles. Jonny Quest versus The Cyber Insects is an animated made-for-television film made by Hanna-Barbera. It premiered on November 19, 1995 on TNT, and was the final iteration of the classic Jonny Quest franchise. The film was a follow-up to the series The New Adventures of Jonny Quest (1986–87), with the same actors voicing Dr. Quest and Race Bannon, and was made as part of a "Year of Jonny Quest". This was Don Messick's last time to voice Dr. Quest in the Jonny Quest series. Jonny's original voice actor, Tim Matheson, returned as the voice of 4-DAC. The plot featured "creepy cyberbugs, techno-speak and computer-assisted info wars, all amidst good old-fashioned melodramatic evil." with a teleplay by David Bennett Carren and J. Larry Carroll.
