Broken Social Scene is a Canadian indie rock band, a musical collective including as few as six and as many as nineteen members, formed by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning. Most of its members play in various other groups and solo projects, mainly in the city of Toronto. These associated acts include Metric, Feist, Stars, Apostle of Hustle, Do Make Say Think, KC Accidental, Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton, Amy Millan, and Jason Collett.
Percy Romeo Miller, also known by his stage name Romeo, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, entrepreneur, and model. Miller gained fame as a rapper in the early 2000s after signing with No Limit Records, then owned by his father, Master P. He soon released his debut single "My Baby" in 2001 which was not only an instant hit and went platinum in 2 weeks, it made the Guinness Book of World Records for one of the fastest selling singles. To date, the single is certified 2x platinum. Later the same year, Miller released his debut album Lil' Romeo, which charted the US Billboard 200 at number six selling 205,000 copies in its first week and went on to be certified Gold, selling 500,000 copies within under a month of its release. On April 20, 2002 the album had sold over 1,800,000 copies in the U.S.
Metric is a Canadian rock band founded in 1998 in Toronto, Ontario. The band consists of Emily Haines, James Shaw, Joshua Winstead and Joules Scott-Key. The band started in 1998 as a duo formed by Haines and Shaw with the name "Mainstream". After releasing an EP titled Mainstream EP, they changed the band's name to Metric.

Sick Puppies are an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1997. Sick Puppies rose to prominence in 2006 when their song "All the Same" was uploaded, along with a video, to YouTube. The video supported the Free Hugs Campaign, which was launched in Sydney, and has since received over 78 million views on the website. This success was followed up with Dressed Up as Life in 2007, which entered the Billboard 200 at number 181. Their third studio album, Tri-Polar, came out on 14 July 2009. The band's fourth studio album, Connect was released on 16 July 2013. They released their fifth studio album, Fury on 20 May 2016 with new vocalist Bryan Scott after Shimon Moore was kicked out of the band in October 2014.

"Hug" is the debut single by South Korean pop group TVXQ. Written by Park Chang-hyun and produced by Lee Soo-man of S.M. Entertainment, "Hug" was first performed at a joint showcase featuring label mate BoA and American singer Britney Spears on December 26, 2003, TVXQ's official debut day. The song was later released as a CD maxi single on January 14, 2004 in South Korea. Its accompanying music video was filmed in December 2003 at the Ilsan Art House. The follow-up promotional song, "My Little Princess", was written by Hwang Sung-jae.
