Heart is an American rock band formed in 1973 in Seattle, Washington. The band evolved from previous projects led by founding members Roger Fisher (guitar) and Steve Fossen, including The Army (1967–1969), Hocus Pocus (1969–1970), and White Heart (1970–1973). By 1975, original members Fisher, Fossen, and Ann Wilson, along with Nancy Wilson, Michael Derosier (drums), and Howard Leese formed the lineup for the band's initial mid- to late-1970s success period. These core members were included in the band's 2013 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Nancy Lamoureux Wilson is an American musician. She rose to fame alongside her older sister Ann as guitarist and second vocalist in the rock band Heart.

The album spawned the singles "Straight On" and "Dog & Butterfly".

Greatest Hits/Live is a compilation album of greatest hits, live recordings and new tracks by American rock band Heart, released on November 29, 1980, by Epic Records. The album was issued in North America as a double LP. The first disc is a collection of the band's greatest hits, while the second is mostly a live album, although it contains three previously unreleased studio recordings, including a cover of "Tell It Like It Is", released as the first single. The second single released from the album was a live cover of "Unchained Melody".
Private Audition is the sixth studio album by American rock band Heart, released on May 20, 1982, by Epic Records. The album reached number 25 on the US Billboard 200, spending 14 weeks on the chart. It spawned the single "This Man Is Mine", which peaked at number 33 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is the last Heart album to feature longtime members Mike Derosier and Steve Fossen, who left after the recording of the album and were replaced by Denny Carmassi and Mark Andes.

Jupiters Darling is the thirteenth studio album by American rock band Heart, released on June 22, 2004, by Sovereign Artists. Sovereign Artist's marketing director, Paul Angles, simultaneously released their album via file sharing networks, which were included in an amicus curiae brief to the US Supreme Court. Two promotional singles were released simultaneously with the album: "The Oldest Story in the World", which peaked at number 22 on Billboard's Heritage Rock chart, and "The Perfect Goodbye". Heart performed "The Perfect Goodbye" with country singer Wynonna Judd on CMT Crossroads on July 9, 2004.

The Sound of Nancy Wilson is a 1968 studio album by Nancy Wilson, originally subtitled "...An Experience in Motion and Emotion." It features a mixture of vocal jazz, soul, and popular music, and several prominent jazz instrumentalists perform on the album, including Benny Carter, Harry "Sweets" Edison, Shelly Manne, and pianist Jimmy Jones, who also serves as arranger and conductor. Produced by Eugene McDaniels, the album is more jazz-funk and jazz-fusion oriented than Wilson's earlier records, and features musicians such as Blue Mitchell, Steve Gadd, Dave Grusin, George Duke, and Hugh McCracken. Grusin serves as arranger for most of the tracks, with additional arrangements by Duke and McCracken. This Mother's Daughter is Wilson's first album with all 10 tracks being original songs. The album's themes are centered on love, relationships and motherhood.
