The Bristol Industrial Museum was a museum in Bristol, England, located on Prince's Wharf beside the Floating Harbour and which closed in 2006. On display were items from Bristol's industrial past – including aviation, car and bus manufacture, and printing – and exhibits documenting Bristol's maritime history. The museum was managed by Bristol City Council along with nearby preserved industrial relics along Prince's Wharf, including the Bristol Harbour Railway, cranes and a small fleet of preserved vessels. The railway, cranes and vessels all now form part of the working exhibits at M Shed Museum.

Franklin C. "Cappy" Cappon was an American college football and college basketball player and coach. He played football and basketball at Phillips University and the University of Michigan and coached at Luther College (1923–1924), the University of Kansas (1926–1927), the University of Michigan, and Princeton University (1938–1961).
Ilkley Manor House, Ilkley, West Yorkshire, England, is a local heritage museum, art gallery, and live venue, and was established in the present building in 1961 to preserve local archaeological artefacts after the spa town expanded and much Roman material was lost. It was managed by Bradford Council Museums and Galleries department but had to be closed in 2013 owing to lack of funds. In order to keep the building open to the public, the Ilkley Manor House Trust was formed, and in April 2018, Bradford Council transferred the Manor House and three adjacent cottages to the Trust as a community asset transfer.

The NMIH holds a significant collection of industrial machinery on loan from the institute's National Museum of American History. The museum also has a large collection of documents, machinery, photographs, and other archival material from Bethlehem Steel, one of the world's largest steel manufacturers prior to its 2001 bankruptcy and 2003 dissolution.

The Thomas and Anna Morrissey House was built as a private house, located at 190 West 9th Street in Holland, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. It is one of the few houses in the area still standing that survived the disastrous 1871 forest fire that decimated Holland. The house has been restored to how it would have appeared in 1871, and is operated by the Holland Museum as the Settlers House Museum.
The Isaac Cappon House was constructed as a private house, located at 228 West 9th Street in Holland, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It is now operated as the Cappon House Museum.
