Ippodromo della Favorita (English: La Favorita Hippodrome) is a horse racing venue in Palermo, Sicily, Italy built in 1953. It is located next to the Stadio Renzo Barbera in the southernmost part of Parco della Favorita, Palermo's largest urban park.
Access to the venue is free of charge, it has a maximum audience capacity of 15,000, of which 2,500 places are seated. Adjacent to the hippodrome, various facilities can be found, such as 2 parking areas for visitors, a playground for children, as well as various restaurants.
The hippodrome is divided in two areas: the actual racing track is 1,000 metres long and 25 metres wide, while the exercise track is located within the actual racing track and is 800 metres long.
The stables sector has 400 placements for horses, as well as staff accommodation, a veterinary station, additional car parking and food stalls.

Stadio Renzo Barbera is a football stadium in Palermo, Italy. It is currently the home stadium of Palermo F.C. team. The stadium was inaugurated during the fascist era on 24 January 1932, and was originally named Stadio Littorio after the Italian word for the fasces symbol. The opening match was Palermo vs Atalanta, with Palermo winning 5–1. A running track surrounded the pitch and there were no stands behind either goal. In 1936, the stadium was renamed Stadio Michele Marrone, in memory of a soldier killed during the Spanish Civil War. In 1945, the name was changed again at the end of World War II to Stadio La Favorita, taken from the name of the local ancient game preserve of Frederick II, Holy Roman Emperor in the 13th century.

Roosevelt Raceway was a race track located just outside the village of Westbury on Long Island, New York. Initially created as a venue for motor racing, it was converted to a ½-mile harness racing facility. The harness racing facility operated from September 2, 1940 until July 15, 1988. It was the original home of the Messenger Stakes, part of the Triple Crown of Harness Racing for Pacers. The raceway hosted the event until it closed. It was also the first track to use the now universal "mobile starting gate". Zagreb Hippodrome is a horse racing venue in Zagreb, Croatia. It was built from 1947 to 1950, with a design based on the Longchamp Racecourse in Paris. It is located in the neighbourhood of Kajzerica, on the southern bank of the Sava river, near the Bundek lake. The venue covers an area of 47 hectares. It was originally built with three racetracks, having lengths of 1,000 metres (3,300 ft), 1,600 m (5,200 ft), and 2,400 m (7,900 ft), but the longest track was removed to make space for an indoor riding hall after the 1987 Summer Universiade. A space for steeplechase races is located in the inside area of the smallest track.
