Jonathan Gray is the editor of Dancing Times , the oldest dance magazine still in publication.

Dancing Times is a dancing magazine based in the UK, the oldest dance magazine to be still published. The magazine helped found the Royal Academy of Dance, the Camargo Society, and the British Dance Council. Dance Today, a ballroom magazine, is a spin-off of Dancing Times.

Gray was a pupil at the Royal Ballet School from the age of eleven to 12. [1] He received a degree in stage design from the Wimbledon School of Art. [1]

The Royal Ballet School is one of the world's greatest centres of classical ballet training. Founded by the Anglo-Irish ballerina and choreographer Ninette de Valois, the school's aim is to train and educate outstanding classical ballet dancers for the Royal Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet.

Gray joined the Dancing Times in 2005, and has been the editor since 2008, when Mary Clarke retired, having been editor since 1963. [2] [1]

Mary Clarke was The Guardian's dance critic for over 17 years, and editor for 45 years of Dancing Times magazine.
