"Kan Fu Fighting"(関風ファイティング,Kan Fū Faitingu) is the fifth single released by the Japanese boyband Kanjani Eight. The single was released with 8 different versions, 7 of them focusing on one specific member and the 8th single being the regular edition. Each of the limited edition singles contained a phone strap in the image color of the band member.

Kanjani Eight is a six-member Japanese boy band from Japan's Kansai region. They are managed by the multimedia talent agency, Johnny & Associates, and signed to Imperial Records. The group was formed in 2002 and made their CD debut in 2004 as "Johnny's modern enka group", though after the year 2006, their sound and style has become a mix of pop and rock. Like the rest of the acts managed under Johnny & Associates, Kanjani Eight also perform in various other areas of the Japanese entertainment industry such as variety show hosting, television, movie, and stage acting, and radio talk show hosting. They sold 17 million copies in Japan.

The release of "Kan Fu Fighting" was the first #1 spot the group obtained since the release of their first single, "Naniwa Iroha Bushi". The song was so popular that it remained the #1 most request song on the Kansai area ABC Radio's ABC Music Paradise for 22 days straight, breaking the record previously set by KinKi Kids back in 1997 with their debut song, "Garasu no Shounen". By the 2007 half year, Kan Fu Fighting a sold an overwhelming 397,734 copies. [1]

KinKi Kids are a Japanese duo consisting of Koichi Domoto and Tsuyoshi Domoto under the talent agency Johnny & Associates. Although the members share the same surname, the only relation they have to each other is that they both hail from the Kinki region, hence the duo's name. KinKi Kids hold the Guinness World Records for having the most number of consecutive No.1 singles since debut.

Kung Fu Hustle is a 2004 comedy film, directed, produced and written by Stephen Chow, who also stars in the lead role. "Kung Fu Fighting" is a disco song by Jamaican vocalist Carl Douglas, with production by British-Indian musician Biddu.
