Kate & Mim-Mim is an animated children's television series created by husband-and-wife duo, Scott and Julie Stewart. [3] Produced by Nerd Corps Entertainment [2] in season 1 and later by DHX Media in season 2 with FremantleMedia Kids & Family, the first episode premiered on Disney Junior in the United States on December 19, 2014 until July 2, 2017 when Disney Junior lost the rights to air the series. [4] The series also premiered in the United Kingdom on CBeebies on October 30, 2016. [5]

Contents

The show focuses on the friendship and adventures of a little girl named Kate and her favorite toy, a plush bunny named Mim-Mim who go on daring adventures in the fictional world of Mimiloo. [6]

A DVD release of the series, titled "Funny Bunny Friend", was released by FremantleMedia Home Entertainment in the United Kingdom on 23 March 2015, a year prior to its TV premiere. [7]

Enchantimals is a media franchise-supported toy line launched on July 18, 2017, by American multinational toy company Mattel as a companion to Ever After High and the second spin-off to Monster High. The line consists of human–animal hybrids and their woodland creature pets who live in a fictional setting of Everwilde. The Enchantimals media include a web series, books, and a television special. The franchise development began in late 2015, it was announced in October 2016, and its toys were first released in June 2017.
