Kathy O'Brien is an American former professional tennis player.

O'Brien was a four-time All-American tennis player for the UCLA Bruins, the first in the program's history to achieve such honors. She and Helena Manset were doubles runners-up at the 1982 NCAA Championships. [1]

As a professional player, O'Brien made the second round of the US Open in both women's doubles and mixed doubles. This includes when she partnered Terry Holladay at the 1983 US Open and took a set off top seeds Martina Navratilova and Pam Shriver, who were putting together a record 109-match winning streak. [2]

Now known as Kathy Alex, she and her husband Chris are parents to nine children. [3]

Althea Neale Gibson was an American tennis player and professional golfer, and one of the first black athletes to cross the color line of international tennis. In 1956, she became the first African American to win a Grand Slam title. Julie Anthony is a former professional American tennis player of the 1970s. She played college tennis at Stanford University. Her coach for many years was Ray Casey.

Linda Tuero American tennis player

Linda Tuero is an American former amateur and professional tennis player. She won six U.S Junior Titles and three U.S. Women's Titles. She reached the quarter-finals of the French Open in 1971, and won the singles titles at the Italian Open in 1972. She represented the United States in the Wightman Cup and Federation Cup teams in 1972 and 1973 and served as the Federation Cup Captain in 1973. Tuero was ranked in the U.S. Top Ten Women Singles for four years and in 1972 was ranked No. 10 in the World.

Alex O'Brien is an American former doubles world No. 1 tennis player. He gained the top ranking in May 2000 and was ranked as high as world No. 30 in singles in June 1997.

Audra Marie Cohen is an American former professional tennis player and current college tennis coach. She was the # 1 collegiate female tennis player in the United States in 2007. At the University of Miami in 2005-2006 she was named the ITA National Player of the Year and was the National Indoor Champion, and in 2006-07 she won the ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship, the NCAA Singles Championship, and the ITA National Player of the Year award.
