Kristina Stephenson is a British author. She is best known for her children's stories, in particular her series Sir Charlie Stinky Socks published by Egmont Publishing and the Molly Maybe series, published by Simon & Schuster.
After school, Stephenson trained as a set and costume designer at the Central School of Art and Design. She worked for many years as a designer, writer and producer in the theatre and television, specialising in young children's programming for BBC and Channel 4, until she had her children. Wanting to stay at home with them she turned her hand to illustration. Inspired to write her first picture book by her son Charlie became an author.
Roald Dahl was a British author of popular children's literature and short stories, a poet, screenwriter and a wartime fighter ace. His books have sold more than 300 million copies worldwide. Dahl has been called "one of the greatest storytellers for children of the 20th century".

Mary Pope Osborne is an American author of children's books and audiobook narrator. She is best known as the author of the Magic Tree House series, which as of 2017 sold more than 134 million copies worldwide. Both the series and Osborne have won awards, including for Osborne's charitable efforts at promoting children's literacy. One of four children, Osborne moved around in her childhood before attending the University of North Carolina. Following college, Osborne traveled before moving to New York City. She somewhat spontaneously began to write, and her first book was published in 1982. She went on to write a variety of other children's and young adult books before starting the Magic Tree House series in 1992. Osborne's sister Natalie Pope Boyce has written several compendium books to the Magic Tree House series, sometimes with Osborne's husband Will.
Pamela Stephenson, Lady Connolly is a New Zealand-born psychologist, writer, actress and comedian. She moved with her family to Australia in 1953 and studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). After playing several stage and television roles, she emigrated to the United Kingdom in 1976.
Margaret Edith Weis is an American fantasy and science fiction author of dozens of novels and short stories. At TSR, Inc., she teamed with Tracy Hickman to create the Dragonlance role-playing game (RPG) world. She is founding CEO and owner of Sovereign Press, Inc and Margaret Weis Productions, licensing several popular television and movie franchises to make RPG series in addition to their own.
Georgia Byng is a British children's writer, educator, illustrator, actress and film producer. Since 1995 she has published thirteen children’s books, and co-written and co-produced one film. Byng has won The Stockton Children’s Book Award, The Sheffield Children’s Book Award, The Massachusetts Children’s Book Award, The Salford Children’s Book Award and The Best Kid’s Film at The Peace And Love Festival, Sweden. Most of Byng’s works are magical realism adventures, with protagonists who overcome self-doubt and become self-empowered. The themes in Byng’s books are often bullying and its darkness, kindness and its light, friendship and its warmth, and the power of the mind.
