Paris is the capital and most populous city of France. Miriam Defensor-Santiago submitted her certificate of candidacy (COC) on October 16, 2015. She was fifth overall in the election and lost to Rodrigo Duterte. Santiago died of lung cancer five months later.
Miriam Paris is an American politician who has served in the Georgia House of Representatives from the 142nd district since 2017. She previously served in the Georgia State Senate from the 26th district from 2011 to 2013.
