The EM-11 Orka ( orca ) is a touring and executive aircraft manufactured in Poland.
The EM-11 was designed by Edward Margański of Margański & Mysłowski Zakłady Lotnicze (Margański & Mysłowski Aviation Works), who were previously known for their Swift S-1 and MDM-1 Fox sailplanes. Work on this new low cost, light utility aircraft, of unorthodox configuration, with slim glider-like fuselage and two pusher engines, started in 2001 and was constructed of composite materials with a 4-seat cab placed low, for easier boarding. Luggage is stored behind the rear seats. Composite fuselage was a development of sailpane fuselage. [1] As the designer Edward Margański pointed out, his goal was to create flying limousine "for people, not only for pilots", offering good visibility, comfort and ease of boarding. [1] He expressed also, that his ambition was always to create beautiful aircraft, an in this field his inspiration was Let L-200 Morava. [1]
The first prototype EM-11, registered SP-YEN, flew 8 August 2003. [1] It has a fixed tricycle landing gear and Rotax 912 (100 hp (75 kW)) engines. The second prototype, registered SP-YEP, was to be a pattern for serial production variant EM-11C, flew 20 October 2005 with Lycoming IO-320 engines and retractable landing gear. In April 2011 EM-11C Orka was EASA certified and is currently in production. Prior to certification, two prototypes and three further aircraft had been built.
Several variants are planned including, a patrol aircraft with an FLIR head, an air ambulance, a cargo aircraft, and an amphibious version.

The Svenska Flygfabriken LN-3 Seagull is a two-seater single-engine pusher configuration amphibian kitplane made from composite material, powered by a D-Motor LF26, D-Motor LF39 or Rotax 912/914 engine. Work started on building the prototype in 2003, and the maiden flight was made on 5 February 2008 at Midlanda Airport. The PZL M-17 "Duduś Kudłacz" was a Polish twin-boom pusher general aviation and trainer aircraft of 1977, which remained a prototype.
The Margański & Mysłowski EM-10 Bielik is a low-cost Polish military training aircraft prototype, built by Margański & Mysłowski Zakłady Lotnicze, and first flown on 4 June 2003. The single-engine aircraft has a composite fuselage with a light-alloy aft section, and the pressurized cockpit is fitted with ejection seats.
The Moynet M 360 Jupiter was a small executive transport built in France in the 1960s. It had an unusual twin-push-pull, single-fuselage configuration. Two prototypes were produced, the second with more power and seating, but no sales resulted.
The Avian 2/180 Gyroplane was a two-seat, single-engine autogyro built in Canada in the 1960s. Several prototypes were built but production was not achieved.
The TL Ultralight TL-132 Condor and TL-232 Condor Plus are single engine, highwing ultralight aircraft designed and built in the Czech Republic in the mid-1990s. They remain in production in 2010.
The Ameur Altania was a single-engine light aircraft of pusher configuration with side-by-side seats for two and a V-tail, designed in France in the 1990s. Several prototypes were built and flown, including a 15 m span motorglider version; the final prototype was constructed from carbon composites rather than glass fibre. Another version, the UCA Carbon Bird has been built by Universal Composite Aviation after the bankruptcy of Ameur Aviation.
The Partenair Mystere is a Canadian two-seat, pusher configuration monoplane that was designed by Partenair Design of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec and intended for amateur construction from kits.

The Nordic Omsider is a Norwegian amphibious flying boat, designed by Terje Sandvik and Jostein Eide and under development by Nordic Aircraft AS of Kinsarvik. It was introduced at the AERO Friedrichshafen show in 2014. Once in production the aircraft is intended to be supplied complete and ready-to-fly.
