Maxi D was a Macedonian discount supermarket chain, a part of the Skopski pazar AD Skopje company. The company also owned the supermarket chain SP market. Skopski pazar's supermarket chain was one of the biggest in the Republic of North Macedonia.

The discounts Maxi D were the first product that Skopski pazar AD Skopje exported outside Skopje and Maxi D became the fastest growing brand of the company. Maxi D went out of business in 2018.

Maxi is a discount grocery retailer based in Quebec, Canada. Founded in 1984 by Provigo, it is a division of Loblaw Companies and the largest of Loblaws' Quebec supermarket chains. Maxi is the Quebec equivalent of No Frills, a chain of franchised discount grocery stores outside Quebec, except that Maxi stores are owned by the company. Over 7,000 people are employed at the Maxi and Maxi & Cie stores across Quebec.

Marsh Supermarkets Defunct grocery chain based in central Indiana

Marsh Supermarkets was an American retail food chain headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, with nearly 100 stores located throughout Central Indiana and parts of western Ohio. Its parent company was Sun Capital Partners, headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida. The company filed for bankruptcy on May 11, 2017, and was eventually liquidated. Topvalco, Inc., a subsidiary of Supermarket chain giant and competitor Kroger purchased 11 out of the 44 remaining stores while Ohio-based Fresh Encounter purchased another 15 stores. The unsold 18 stores were closed on or before July 8, 2017.

Old Bazaar, Skopje Bazaar in Skopje, North Macedonia

The Old Bazaar is a bazaar located in Skopje, North Macedonia, situated on the eastern bank of the Vardar River, stretching from the Stone Bridge to the Bit-Pazar and from the Skopje Fortress to the Serava river. The Old Bazaar falls primarily within the borders of Čair Municipality but a part of it is located in Centar Municipality. As one of the oldest and largest marketplaces in the Balkans, it has been Skopje's centre for trade and commerce since at least the 12th century.

DON Market

DON Market is a chain of supermarkets in the Republic of North Macedonia. Don was founded in 2007, with its first store opening at Ohrid, Macedonia. Don now has a supermarket in Ohrid and Struga, but plans to open in other cities in North Macedonia. Don is currently the most visited supermarket in Southwest North Macedonia. It also has a chain of small shops known as Damping or Mini DON.
