Dizzy Mizz Lizzy is an alternative rock band from Copenhagen formed in October 1988 in Valby. The power trio consists of Tim Christensen, Martin Nielsen and Søren Friis (drums). Dizzy Mizz Lizzy have stated that they are influenced by The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Nirvana, but are not very fond of the designation grunge, which Dizzy perceived as an overused buzzword in 1994. Between 1994 and 1997, they were highly successful in Denmark and Japan and are credited for heading the 1990s rock revival in Denmark with their studio albums Dizzy Mizz Lizzy (1994) and Rotator (1996). After the group disbanded in 1998, Christensen started a successful solo career.

The group formed in 1995 in Copenhagen and achieved international success around the globe in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The band released three albums: Aquarium in 1997, Aquarius in 2000 and Megalomania in 2011. The group sold an estimated 33 million albums and singles, making them the most profitable Danish band ever.
Sidsel Ben Sémmane is a Danish musician known since 2017 by the stage name Sémmane. She won the 2006 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and went on to finish 18th at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens. Her mother is Algerian.

"Redefinition" is a song by the Danish dance-pop duo Infernal. It was the fourth and final single released from their 2008 album Electric Cabaret on 27 April 2009 after undoubtedly being the favourite track among fans. Unlike the three previous singles, "Redefinition" is not co-written by Adam Powers. It is also the only single from the album that did not enter the charts.
"My Arms Keep Missing You" is a song by Rick Astley released in 1987 as the second half of a double A-side single. The first A-side is the pop standard "When I Fall in Love". "My Arms Keep Missing You" was released as an independent single in Germany and reached number 6. The song's first appearance on an album was the 2002 compilation Greatest Hits, and it later appeared on the 2010 expanded version of Hold Me in Your Arms as a bonus track. The song also appeared on the remastered edition of Whenever You Need Somebody, which was released on 20 May 2022. In addition, a digital EP was released on 13 April 2022, including the single and its remixes. The song was also included on a limited edition 12" double A-side red vinyl issue of the "Love This Christmas" single, along with "When I Fall in Love".

The song won the competition with a total of 372 points, at the time the second-highest point total in the contest's history. The song received the highest number of maximum (12) points of any entry in the contest's history with eighteen countries giving the song their top marks.

Emmelie Charlotte-Victoria de Forest is a Danish singer and songwriter. She represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Only Teardrops" and went on to win the competition.
Anja Nissen, sometimes known as simply Anja, is a Danish-Australian singer. She was the winner of the third season of The Voice Australia. Following her win, Nissen was signed to Universal Music Group and lists her influences as Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Toni Braxton and Stevie Wonder. In 2015, Nissen was the support act for Olly Murs on his Australian Never Been Better tour.
"Baby Boy" is a song recorded by Danish Eurodance act and sisters Me & My, released in December 1995 by EMI as the second single from the act's eponymous album (1995). Co-written by the Georgi sisters, the song enjoyed moderate success in many European countries, reaching number-one in both Denmark and Hungary. Additionally, it peaked at number three in Finland, number 10 in Belgium and number 30 in Austria. On the Eurochart Hot 100, the song reached number 60 in March 1996. The accompanying music video for "Baby Boy" was directed by Danish artist Peter Ravn. It featured Me & My dressed like cats, rabbits and nuns. Pan-European magazine Music & Media described the song as "equally up-tempo and infectious" as "Dub-I-Dub". In 2007, the song was included on the act's best of album The Ultimate Collection.
