Modepalast founded in 2003, is a fashion event which takes place once a year, in April at the museumsquartier (MQ), in Vienna, Austria. The event focuses on young fashion design, both local and international labels, and thus creates a platform for over 80 new designers to present their creations. The program features a variety of events, shopping, fashion shows, and designers.
Modepalast was founded in 2003 by Cloed Baumgartner and Jasmin Ladenhaufen, who worked as the managers and the curators of the fair. Introducing to the local market the concept of a fixed fashion event, Modepalast became an important part of the Viennese fashion scene. The fair includes a variety of fashion items as well as accessories and hosts designers from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Hungary, England, Poland and the Netherlands. They sold the company in 2012.
Modepalast 2009 takes place from 23 to 26 April,[ needs update ] at the quartier21 of the Museumsquartier (Museums quarter). The Designers' works range from street fashion, Urban wear to high fashion as well as jewellery and accessories. The designers also present their works in different fashion shows, which take place on a runway in the center of the Museumsquartier. Alongside the main event in the Museumsquartier different parties and fashion events throughout Vienna will take place.[ citation needed ]

The Museum Of Young Art (MOYA) founded 2005 in Vienna, Austria, was the first museum worldwide exclusively devoted to 21st-century young art. The MOYA was privately owned, founded & owned by the Swiss and German art historian and art manager Dr. Kolja Kramer. It presented artworks produced exclusively after the year 2000 and focused especially on the early work of artists. The stylistic focus of its exhibitions was on contemporary painting, video installations, photography and Fantastic Realism. The museum provided opportunities for young artists to showcase their skills in a formal setting. However, in 2015 the MOYA-Museum of Young Art in Vienna was closed permanently.

Belvedere 21, formerly 21er Haus or Einundzwanziger Haus, is a modernist style steel and glass building designed by Austrian architect Karl Schwanzer (1918–1975). Originally constructed as the Austrian pavilion or temporary showroom for the Expo 58 in Brussels, it was later transferred to Vienna to house the Museum of the 20th Century, which explains why it was first nicknamed "20er Haus". Between 1979 and 2001, the building also acted as a depository for contemporary art works. From 2009 to 2011, it was remodeled by the architect Adolf Krischanitz and consequently renamed 21er Haus to reflect the 21st century. It was renamed Belvedere 21 in 2018.

Since July 2011, the event has taken place part in front of the Brandenburg Gate.

Mary Sibande is a South African artist based in Johannesburg. Her art consists of sculptures, paintings, photography, and design. Sibande uses these mediums and techniques to help depict the human form and explore the construction of identity in a postcolonial South African context. In addition, Sibande focuses on using her work to show her personal experiences through Apartheid. Her art also attempts to critique stereotypical depictions of women, particularly black women.

He is notable for designing elaborate shoes inspired from environs and wildlife, clothes with kinky Filipinized nature patterns and bases, and installations which use tied-up living human bodies as a form of fetish art.
Serbia Fashion Week is a fashion show held twice a year in Novi Sad, Serbia. Occurring in April and November, the event attracts local and international fashion designers, such as Thierry Mugler and Anna Fendi. In addition to runway shows, seminars and exhibits, the "Fashion Talent Design Competition" helps promote young Serbian designers by showcasing their collections. The seven day festival also highlights the works of applied artists, musicians, interior decorators, multimedia experts and architects.
