The Namibian Super Cup, commercially known as the Standard Bank Super Cup, is a one-off match between champions of Namibia Premier League and NFA Cup.

The Namibia Premier League (NPL), also known as MTC Namibia Premier League due to sponsorship reasons, is the highest level of domestic association football in Namibia. The league was established in 1985 and was trimmed to 12 teams from the traditional 16 in 2005.

Standard Bank was named as title sponsor after agreeing to a three-year deal with the Namibia Football Association for the naming rights. [1] [2]

Its aim is to create a football culture and industry that provides entertainment and economical benefits for all; to become a dominant national association within the confederation via the professionalism of the game's administration; to promote education and development programmes in all aspects of the game, particularly regarding youth and women's football; and to provide a force for cohesion in society.

A Super Over, also called a one-over eliminator or simply an eliminator, is a tie-breaking method used in limited-overs cricket matches. The super over is a reduced version of the match that consists only of one over for each team. 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup

The 2018 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament that was held in New Zealand from 13 January to 3 February 2018. It was the twelfth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the third to be held in New Zealand. New Zealand was the first country to host the event three times. The opening ceremony took place on 7 January 2018. The West Indies were the defending champions. However, they failed to defend their title, after losing their first two group fixtures.
