Pan American Women's Junior Handball Championship

The Pan American Women's Junior Handball Championship was the official competition for junior women's national handball teams of the Americas, and took place every two years. In addition to crowning the Pan American champions, the tournament also served as a qualifying tournament for the IHF Junior World Handball Championship. In 2018, the PATHF was deprived of recognition and the tournament was replaced with the North American & Caribbean and South and Central American Women's Junior Handball Championships.

The Pan-American Team Handball Federation (PATHF) is the continental governing body for handball, beach handball, wheelchair handball and snow handball in Americas since 23 May 1977. PATHF includes Northern America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. The 2014 Pan American Men's Club Handball Championship took place in Taubaté from 28 May to 1 June. It acts as the Pan American qualifying tournament for the 2014 IHF Super Globe.

The Pan American Youth Beach Handball Championship was the official competition for men's and women's youth national beach handball teams of America. In addition to crowning the Pan American champions, the tournament also served as a qualifying tournament for the IHF Youth Beach Handball World Championship. Only two were held as in 2018, the PATHF disbanded and the tournaments were replaced with the North America & the Caribbean and South & Central American championships.

The 2018 Pan American Men's Handball Championship was the 18th official competition for senior men's national handball teams of North, Central and South America and the Caribbean. It was held from 16 to 24 June 2018 in Nuuk, Greenland. It also acted as the qualifying competition for the 2019 World Men's Handball Championship in Denmark and Germany, securing three vacancies for the World Championship.
